About us

Permatox Pest Control Inc. was established in Shreveport by Len Poole. It is a local family owned and operated business under the licensed operators Len Poole (father) and Kevin Poole (son). Kevin and Carla Poole run the daily operations of the business. Permatox has been servicing Bossier, Caddo, Desoto, and Webster Parishes since July 1976. Permatox takes care of many large and small businesses, restaurants, and residential homes in the Shreveport & Bossier City area. All of the Permatox professionsals are certified and attend continuing education seminars each year. Services we offer

Permatox Pest Control Inc offers Pest Control contracts and one time services. We also are licensed for Termite Inspections, Sentricon Specialists, and Wood Destroying Insect Reports when closing on a home. Termite treatment consist of The Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System. Mistaway Systems and fogging treatments are also available.

I had used them for years and was happy. They recently changed to only coming every two months and only spraying outside. They also started to spray a crystal chemical and I noticed that the birds in my backyard had gone away. I checked online and found that the chemical was toxic to birds.  They also increased the price. I recently cancelled my service with them. We now spray the outside of the house ourselves. I understand why they changed their service; it just does not work for me.

Their service had gone fine. They were very good. They are professional and polite. Our dog has allergies so we can’t use the usual spray. They came out with a different product that seems to work. Our veterinarian actually recommended them to us.

Their service has been very good. We have used them for 25-30 years now. The same guy has come out each time. They come out every 2 months. If you have a problem they come out right away. We have had some issues over the years and they always come out very quickly.

We've used them for the last year. We pay them $60 every two months. We've never used an exterminator before but we moved to the south and I don't like bugs so I guess I am happy with them. The guy that is assigned to our house has been good at educating me.  Their price is the same as everybody else in the area but I’m not excited about it.
