Roy came to look at the job the day and time he said he would. The work was done in a timely manner. The workers were friendly and gave good advice. Things turned out better than I had planned. Roy gave advice which helped me complete the job on my own. Roy made a couple of extra trips bringing me supplies and doing a pre-final inspection. We passed. The reason I rated them a B on Quality was due to forgeting a key connecting run of wire between two plugs. If i hadn't spotted it, about three plugs at the end of the circuit would have been dead.

When we called to request the job the women told us it would take approximately two hours to complete. One man came on time the other was late, so the work didn't start when agreed upon. They broke our light in the attic and although they replaced it, we were charged for the labor. In total they were here over five hours.

Concerned about safety of situation just as much as fixing the problem

Lightning struck the electrical wiring in the attic which started a fire and melted the water and gas line tubing. I called Milam Electrical Service Friday morning after reviewing some of the Eelctrical Companies on Angies List and I saw that Milam has all good reviews not one negative comment. So I called their office and the secreatary told me they would be able to get to me as soon as they finished a job they were working on.It wasn't 20 minutes later when the electrician called me back and said they were on their way to my house. I was not expecting such a quick response since this was a Friday. They arrived to the house the same time Rinchuso Plumbing and ServPro got there and they all started surveying and correcting the problems. The servicemen were courteous and helpful. They made sure everything was in working order before they left. This was my first time using Milam Electric, Inc. and I would recommend them to anyone. The bill will be sent to my insurance company.

They responded to my request for a repair on the day I called them. They got me fit in that day and came out when they said they would. That in itself is great. Found my problem...fixed it and helped me with other issues and left. Experience was great...No problems at all

The original quote was for a little over $9,000, for wire, labor and breaker panel, but Roy was able to find a better deal on the copper wire, so he deducted $1,200 from the final bill. Milam Elect is the kind of company you are looking for. The guys doing the work were very polite, professional and the work was neatly done. I'll be using them, in the future, to install LED down lighting at my home.
