Other than missing his first appointment with me (for which he profusely apologized), everything went great.  A quick reasonable quote, followed by work about a week afterwards.

It went really well. Mr. Matthews was very professional, punctual, and very pleasant to deal with. He kept us informed of what work was being done on a daily bases, as we have been out of town.

Matthews Painting did a GREAT job. I have never seen so much scrapping before starting to paint. I will recommend him to anyone who wants a great paint job. He did everything he said he would do with no extra or add on charges. If I ever need another paint job I will call Matthews.

Calvin was wonderful to work with. He is a true gentleman and is very knowledgeable about his work. He completed the job promptly and was very patient with the uncooperative weather. He even re-did some newly painted areas harmed by the rain without being asked and at no extra charge!

Calvin Mathews showed up on time to provide a free estimate. We discussed job site clean-up as well as the overall painting and color scheme. I expected to have to wait a few days for the estimate, but he completed it right then.
He and his team went above and beyond the expected -- no cigarette butts in my yard, no paint messes, cleaned brushes, etc, at the back of the backyard. While he was painting, the wind blew a board loose on the fence, and Calvin went to his truck, got a hammer and nailed the fence board back in place. He truly cared about the job and our property.
The paint job looks GREAT!! -- The neighbors love it, too. -- Oh, and the front door looks brand new.
I couldn't have asked for a more professional team. I highly recommend Mathews Painting.(One note -- the website listed here is incorrect.)

Calvin Matthews was very responsive to phone calls, prompt in arriving for a 2 1/2 day job and more than anything, he was very professional and trustworthy. I would definitely use him again for future painting. 2 of my neighbors had their houses painted and he underbid them by hundreds of dollars.
