The flooring I picked out was supposed to be halfway between the harder wood and softer wood; it was right in the middle. I had several, several scratches on the floor and I don't even know where they came from. I am disappointed in the wood and I am disappointed that we did not have the quarter-round down, but did not realize it was my responsibility. It is a floating floor and there are several places that almost pinches my foot when I step on it. Because we had a cement foundation they could not nail the floor door. Because it is a floating floor it just snaps together and they can't glue it. When they chipped up the tile in the foyer and kitchen (I even rented the machine for them to do it) they did not do a very good job of getting the leftover grout up. My dad is on Fentanyl patches and some of them turned up missing.
