Description of Work: Lawhon Myers was a new company when the ex and I used them. (The calendar dating above won't go past 2012. Our work took place in 1988 or so.) Much of the work was completed according to contract until the kitchen was next. It took three times as long and way past the proposed amount to revamp the old kitchen. The cabinets were covered with oil-based paint and needed to be sanded enough for the new water-based paint to stick. This young kid (someone's son) barely put the sand paper to paint and eventually there were many nicks where any bang or bump dinged the new paint. The most upsetting was the much higher cost of the kitchen. Too much time lapse existed between various types of workmen, especially painters. |The major problem was the roof angle over the new sun room. Major water leaks run down through the roof and down the French doorjambs and onto the floor in the sun room. This was never repaired to a satisfactory conclusion. The ex says rot is occurring now. |Overall, both young men were professional and we trusted them until the kitchen thing. They still charged the much higher cost then we were earlier given. Overall, excluding the water leak, the work was satisfactory, even exemplary. I wish I didn't have to write a negative review of work done early in the company's existence. I'm sure the two men have learned much since then.

Description of Work: Outside driveway, Patio, and walkway around the house. Complete yard water abatement in addition. Installation of door dams in caprort. Remodel and painting within entire house.

Description of Work: They redid a big part of our roof.

Description of Work: Removed texture ceiling and painted, taped, and floated den sheet rock and painted. Installed 2 ceiling fans and 2 lights. Installed concrete back patio, new roof, repaired damaged sheet rock in outside storeroom, painted living room/dining room.
