When we began the project, we were concerned about the time it might leave us without usable electricity, but that was not a problem. Garison's people were prompt, explained ahead of time what they would be doing, and worked quickly to make sure that we were inconvenienced as little as possible. They coordinated their work with the electric company also (which is something of a miracle) to be sure that we didn't have any downtime waiting on that aspect. In the kitchen remodel, they had some very useful suggestions that helped to minimize a couple of problems resulting from the remodeling contractor's mistakes.

Andy at Garison Electric was the primary electrician for the new home we recently built in Shreveport. He and everyone else from Garison that worked on our home were true professionals. Any problems that we have encountered since moving in have been addressed quickly and professionally. They always get a technician out to solve any problem right away and there has never been a charge for anything we have had problems with after the fact. They are a top notch electrical contractor.

Labor was subbed out to another company for installing a backup natural gas generator. Product worked very well, but getting service from Garison's is like pulling eye teeth.

The same experience has been shared by our neighbor who used them for the same purpose. It usually takes from a week to ten days to get someone to come out and service the generator, which normally just needs a new battery and/or oil change.

After a week of no response from the first call to the company, another call was made most recently and a female employee informed us that we were on the list to get repaired. Her attitude was not very professional and acted as if we were imposing on her by inquiring about service.Last year when we had similar problems, we were told no one could come out for a week or so because one of the service persons was working out of town and I forgot what the other excuse was, but it was lame.I honestly don't see how they stay in business with customer service like this.

We thought the first year of poor service was a fluke, but it continued to be very much the same the second and third year. My neighbor had her service go out and called for repair. They came out and fixed her problem without even knocking on the door and left without so much as a word. It has been over a week since I reported our latest outage and our generator is still not working.
