They instructed us on how much water to put on the new sod. They came out and replaced part of the sod that did not take well. The crew was very thorough and they worked really hard. The work took almost the entire day to complete and they worked well together. They cleaned up well after themselves and they are self efficient.

Yard was in bad shape. The repersentive came out and looked over the property and promply contacted me with a verbel quote and a timeline of the work.
They did what was expected and more.
If you are looking for a good well rounded yard service that will work with you. This is it.

efficient, polite, good quality work. only complaint would be that they didn't show on the first day expected and also were not prompt with returning to correct a complaint and billing.

I think their price is fair. They were always here on time and on the day that they were scheduled.

They do our regular lawn care as well. We had a rough patch with them here and there but since we have been working with the owner and he has taken a personal interest in making sure things are taken care of the way they are suppose to. During the summer months they pretty much have you on a set schedule but in the winter months its a bit harder its like hit or miss as to when they will be out, but they still get out here to do the work.

** HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR ALL YOUR LANDSCAPE NEEDS **
I initially contacted this company on Wednesday 6/22/2011 for an estimate quote for some landscaping work. I was told the "Estimator" would contact me within 24 hours. Much to my pleasure and surprise a fellow I came to know as Clint promptly called me back and we setup an appointment for the next day.
On Thursday 6/23/2011, Clint arrived and spent a half an hour discussing my garden landscape issues describing what his company could do for me. In addition to the major work of cleaning out flowerbeds and prune / trim bushes around my home both of which were severely overgrown and full of weeds, we also discussed additional work of replacing some plastic garden edging with a more durable metal product and completely re-mulch all my flowerbeds around my home. He gave me some initial "ballpark quotes" which sounded reasonable and we ended our appointment with a promise that Clint would e-mail me a final quote.
On Monday 6/27/2011, I received e-mail quote from Clint and since this company was the only one to provide me with a quote (I had call other landscape companies but received poor service and no quotes), and since the price seemed reasonable for the work, I hired FIRST CHOICE LAWN CARE.
The "job" consisted of 4 parts with a Total Quote of $1,347.50.
On Monday 6/27/2011, Clint came out and applied the first of two Chemical Applications. Since FIRST CHOICE LAWN CARE likes to allow up to 7 days for the Chemical Application to work, I set up an appointment for Tuesday, 7/5/2011, the following week to do the "Main Job". Clint did advise me that due to the Holiday and other clients that he might need to move the appointment to later in following week and that he would keep me informed.
On Thursday, 6/30/2011, Clint called and advised me that Tuesday, 7/5/2011, would not work and we set a tentative appointment for the following Friday, 7/8/2011 to do the "Job". As "compensation" Clint stated he would give me an additional Chemical Application free of charge.
On Tuesday, 7/5/2011, Clint fulfilled his promise and came out to my home and applied an additional Chemical Application. While he was at my home he also re-measured the flowerbeds to ensure that his crew would have more bags of mulch and metal edging than they needed so no one would have to spend time going back to his shop for more mulch or edging. We also talked about the tentative "job date" of Friday 7/8/2011 as Clint was still unsure he could do it due to prior commitments for other clients.
On Thursday, 7/7/2011, Clint called and said he had time to do the "Job" on Friday 7/8/2011 (the next day), and ensured me that my "Job" would be done FIRST THING!
On Friday 7/8/2011, Clint and 4 additional crew members from FIRST CHOICE LAWN CARE, arrived promptly at 8:00 A.M., and quickly got to work. Clint stayed for about an hour to ensure the alternate team leader was fully briefed on the work to be performed and to also help out so his crew could complete the job before it got too hot (we were in the middle of a heat wave with 100+ degree weather and heat indexes in the 105 to 110 range).
The whole crew from FIRST CHOICE LAWN CARE worked for three hours and did a FANTASTIC JOB! They worked quickly but professionally to include the final cleanup of ALL yard waste and debris, and left at 11:00 A.M.
My flowerbeds and bushes haven't look this good in a long time and I am very happy with work performed.
Clint, or someone from FIRST CHOICE LAWN CARE is still expected to come out around 7/22/2011 to do the second (and final) Chemical Application. I don't expect any problems.
The final invoice cost of $1277.50 for all four jobs came in UNDER the initial quote of $1,347.50 primarily due to using fewer bags of mulch (70 vs 80).
FIRST CHOICE LAWN CARE is a great company and worthy of consideration for all your future landscaping needs.

UPDATE - 7/22/2011
Clint came out today and as contracted and completed the second of two Chemical Applications.
We talked about future pruning mid winter and other possible planting ideas. A neighbor down the street saw how good FIRST CHOICE LAWN CARE did on my flowerbeds that they stopped by and asked Clint if he would look at theirs also. It is my hope that this fine company gets another new client from the quality work done on my yard. Please consider them if you have any landscaping work that needs to be done.

Ther actual lawn service is great but I will say that you have to stay on top of their billing department.
