We got 3 estimates from you for refinishing our kitchen cabinets. One was way too high - nearly $3,000, 1 was way too low - $850, so we decided to choose the middle estimate of $1350.00. Mr. Danny Litton, owner of D&E Property Ventures, got the job & made the statement numerous times in our conversation, "I am a Christian and will do it right the first time". He took our agreed-upon down payment of $350.00 & sent us his best "professional painter". After about an hour, we noticed he hadn't sanded anything, just started painting the cabinets the blue (they were 24 year old cabinets painted white when we built the house in 2001. There was nothing wrong with the paint after all those years, we just wanted a bright color and chose blue). We immediately called Mr. Litton, upset about no sanding - no primer, and he came & said "totally unacceptable". Sent out another "professional" the next day. As far as we could tell, very little sanding was done, just dusted off, then the next day, started taking off the knobs and hinges, as we agreed in the contract. (We didn't know until much later when we began trying to put the hinges back that 5-6 screws were missing). We didn't see any primer before painting the blue. Called Mr. Litton out again & he said again it would be done right - quoting his Christianity. That's all & good - we are Christians as well. We both work, so we weren't here all the time during the painting. They did plug holes, but of course, also plugged where the hinges were going back on in the same spots, and of course, must have painted before taking the hinges down. Since they didn't all line up exactly as they were with the holes filled, there ended up being some spots around the hinges not completely painted. They did have to come out again to fix some missed spots we found. We paid the balance on the 16th of September, but started looking closer at everything & it took at least a week for us to try to get missed spots. Now, as the pictures show, the "expensive" Benjamin Moore paint from Harrison Paint hasn't held up well at all, probably because there was no primer underneath. Please see all the attached pictures!

They did home remodeling, trashed out and house cleaning. They also did yard work. They did a good job. They did everything I asked them to do. They did it quickly and no complaint.

They did general contracting. They helped us on our bathroom, replaced the window, did some drywall works, and luxury flooring. They were very easy to work with and the guys were always on time. They cleaned up after themselves and they were very professional.

They painted the exterior of our house. Their employees were very courteous and friendly. We would recommend them 100%. They were quick, always showed up and they were very reliable.

Painted exterior of the home. Danny Litton is not a man of his word. They took way to long to paint my house, and promise after promise was not kept. The work was terrible, for instance they promised to paint by hand but ended up spraying it. Some replaced siding was not primed so wood shows through. Several places they promised to repair but didn't, and many places that they did repair was done terribly. Their workers would not show up for weeks and then only stay for a couple of hours. They dumped (hid) scrap material behind our shed instead of taking it off. Danny does not keep notes so that he can later deny that you told him something. So many issues that I could go on and on but the main things is that they painted my house the WRONG COLOR. the color was close but not the color we chose. They promised to resolve all of our issues but in the end Danny does not answer the phone and will not return messages. Do not hire this company, they promise you the world but do not deliver.
