Description of Work: 1.Tore down old front door, trim and porch light; installed new fiberglass door with large glass insert and new porch light. Installed new locks; new trim inside and out; painted door and trim with two coats of paint applied on two consecutive days using different colors. | |2. Installed prefabricated standing steel 4x8 porch awning. | |ALL work was meticulously done! |

 + -1 moreUsing this company was an absolute disaster. They sold the job based on certain promises and assurances and none of them were honored. The contactor never finished the job. He showed up as long as we were willing to make interim draws but, after the job fell 5 weeks behind and he was not showing up we informed him that there would be no more payments until the job was completed. At that point, he stopped showing up and responding to our phone calls and e-mail. When I made demand that he complete the job he responded that he felt that he had done his job and that we could use the rest of the money that was owed to him to hire someone else to complete the job.

Thorough knowledge of the materials and tools come from a lifetime of dedication and love of craft. Would recommend Custom Woodcraft for anything and everything related to home repair, remodel, and install. Do not let the initial estimate scare you ! Pricey but worth every penny because you truly get what you pay for.
Description of Work: Removed old (40+ years) and decaying wall and Installed approx. 26 feet in length of 8 foot tall pine french doors in great-room wall to patio. A combination of antique and new wood materials used for doors, headers, framing and casing.

 + -1 moreThey are the best in Shreveport. They can do just about anything like general contracting, construction and remodeling. The price charged by them was somewhere in the $5000 range. They are great to work with as advertised. They finish on time and they are thorough. I would definitely use their services in the future too.
