Called three different companies for an estimate. Randall Atkins returned my call the same day and made an appointment to come out the next day to give me an estimate. He was on time, professional, and demonstrated he knew the business well. We scheduled a date but had to reschedule due to the weather but on the rescheduled date, the crew showed up and got everything done in a few hours. They were friendly and professional. They left things in much better condition than what they found. I was very pleased.
I will be using them again to remove several other trees on my property. I highly recommend them.

We were forced to remove a huge old elm tree from our backyard because it was dropping limbs and developing splits in the trunk. We called Atkins and they showed up promptly to give us an estimate for the job. They were swamped with work at the time due to all the damaged trees from the drought last year but they put us on the schedule for several weeks away. Reggie and crew showed up early and ready to work on the morning they said they would be here. They had to put a crane in the front yard to lift the trunk and larger limbs over the house. They made every effort to minimize damage to the yard from the crane and the other equipment that they used. Their employees were courteous and they are very hard workers. Before they left, they raked up all debris and even used power blowers to clean up the driveway and street.

Atkins Tree Service came as scheduled to trim a giant oak tree (at least 70 yrs old) in our backyard. This was quite a challenge because the tree is very close to house, on a narrow lot, making it impossible to get equipment into back yard. However, we knew we had to do something because several large, dead limbs had fallen on our deck making it very dangerous to sit outside.
Reggie and his crew were very professional. They did an outstanding job - the tree looks beautiful and is no longer a hazard. We were impressed with how quickly they finished this job and were so pleased at how they cleaned up after the job. They left everything better than they found it! Deck swept, gutters cleaned out! How refreshing to do business with a company that employs people who care about doing a good job. And, no surprise add-on to cost - price was exactly what he quoted. Very pleased with this company!

I had a very large oak tree that had rotted on the inside from the bottom up to about 12 feet. I had used Atkins about ten years ago and had a very good experience with them. This job needed a professional group and had the equipment to do the job. This is the reason I called them. They brought in their crane and used it to help in taking down the limbs that reached over my home and my neighbors. This was done very efficiently with no damage to the homes or property. Took over a day due to the size of the tree.The clean up was excellent.

They are kinda pricey. I will use them again in the future if necessary.

I am satisfied with them and it has been a couple of years since I used them.

They were very good. They did what they were supposed to do. They were prompt, and professional. Everything was good. Their rates were reasonable.

.We were getting ready to leave for the beach and I happened to look outside and a big tree was about to fall on my neighbors fence. Not sure if it got hit by lightning or what so I called them and they came right out. It was either the owner or his son that came with a crew. They were here as we were pulling out. I didn't have time to price them but I don't feel it was to bad.

Contacted company and they came out the next day for an estimate. Called them back a few days later and scheduled a time for them to come out. They were prompt and brought plenty of personnel to cut down 2 large trees and 1 small tree. They also ground the stumps. They were done w the job in about 4 hours. Cleaned up the areas and did a great job.

I called yesterday, and Randall came out this morning to give me an estimate. This is a problem tree that is hollowed out and dead, and we had concerns it may fall on the neighbor's house. He gave me a quote right away, and said that this could be an emergency case and he will bring a crew out today to cut the tree down.

He brought his crew of about 8 men, and had the tree down in no time. This is the second time using this service, and I already know I will need to call back in the near future to have another sad tree removed.

This company is so great! They came out about four months ago to do some work for me, and they were able to come out earlier than they predicted, and they were super professional! They gave a written estimate and stuck by it. I have another sick tree now, and I am calling them again TODAY! Seriously!

Randall was very responsive to come by and give an estimate. He even beat me to my house and had to wait for me for about 20 minutes. The estimate was spot on and that was exactly what I was charged. They came by two days later, while I was at work, and performed all services. All of it was done when I got home and looked great.

During a Sunday storm 1/3 of an established willow tree fell onto one of my rent houses. I called Atkins the next morning and they not only called me back within an hour, but made an appointment for that morning to do an estimate on the work, which was scheduled for the next morning. I received a written estimate on the spot, so I knew what was included in the price. Due to rain, the removal was delayed by a day, but I received a call Wednesday morning saying that the crew would be there in an hour to start the removal. The crew arrived 30 minutes early and had the tree removed and ground out in 30 minutes! They were very quick and professional. There were no extra charges over the estimates, which was nice to have no surprises.
