We adopted a little maltese from the animal shelter. She was sick. I took her straight to the Animal Emergency Clinic before taking her home. Her breathing wasn't good and you could see her bones because she was out and about on her own for a while. After we got her all fixed up she has been perfect. They did everything they could to make sure she would be OK. They are really caring people. They work well with other vets in town. They let me know what was going on every step of the way. They kept an eye on her the entire time she was there. This was the second time that I've used them and I'd use them again.

My dog was bitten by a bad snake. I was able to get him to the clinic for treatment before the swelling started. He started swelling as we were in the waiting room. There was no one ahead of us. My first issue is that they took my dog to the back to be looked at without me ever seeing a vet. When the vet did come out, she looked drunk and appeared to not have any knowledge of what she was doing. I DID NOT SEE ANY TREATMENT DONE TO MY DOG. I had to ask to see my dog because she did not bring him into the exam room. I was taken into another room where he was in a crate I was told he needed to stay over night and I needed to pick him up in the morning. When I got home, I saw the swelling on my other dog. I treated her at home because I was told when I called the clinic it would be $650 if I brought the second dog in. When I went to pick up the first dog in the AM, I told them I had the second dog in the truck who needed to be seen by my regular vet immediately and that she was outside in the truck with no air and was my first dog ready to go. I was told yes. 20 minutes later, I still did not have my dog and the paperwork was still not ready for me to sign. First, why do they need my social security number to be able to treat my dog? Second, what kind of vet treats an animal when the owner is not present? To me that is incompetent and I have no way of knowing whether my dog was treated or not. He was worse when I picked him up than when I left him. My regular vet said it appears he was not treated properly and had become dehydrated. As of right now, I do not know if my dog is going to make it. This clinic is incompetent, rude, lazy, and highly unprofessional.
