I am in there all the time. My family has been using them since the 1940's. They are really respected by everyone in town. They are so responsive and never critical with anyone else's plants. You can take your problems to them. You can have others come out for cheaper but you won't get the service. They have a family attitude and will treat you right because they know you're going to come back.

Akin's Nursery Inc. in Shreveport. They are a little different that the other ones. They have a lot of plants and trees and all that but they also have decor inside, pots and trinkets and things inside and a lot of that kind of stuff too. They are known for that. I was there about a few weeks ago. I don't think I bought anything that time, they didn't have what I was looking for. They kind of had what I wanted, it was a hanging basket, but I wanted a hanging basket but I didn't' want to pay that much for it. They said they should get more in, I just never went back to see. They are willing to help and are knowledgeable about the plants they have.
