Charged $150 to snake drain and took 10 minutes. Since we already paid for an hour, I asked if they could look at a leaky faucet. The plumber said no, that that would constitute another call and would cost another $150.

He ran that and quot;snakeand quot; down the tub drain and left. Before he left, I ran water into the tub and it was still stopped up, so I asked him to try again. He said NO. left the house, got in his truck and left. We never paid Colville, of course, and we told them the reason we would not. We've never used them again.

Dos - Response time is very good; work is efficient, professional attitude, explain the problem with customers, reasonable prices.

Don'ts - Can't really think of anything they don't do well at..

I called. They came out immediately and fixed the leak and then provided a recommendation for a sheetrock man to fix the drywall.

Not so great. The washer/dryer moved to the garage and when it was hooked up, the hot and cold water were switched, so they had to fix that. When the utility sink was installed later-same thing. Finally, when the remodel was complete and we first used the shower-same thing. Instead of going back and correcting it at the source, it is now corrected piecemeal. At least it's corrected. Worse than that inconvenience, when they moved the toilet drain, they neglected to move the toilet shut-off valve. In fact they left it where it was for the old toilet location and they left it as a very short stub and it "got lost". It was covered by the guys who did the blown in insulation. Then that was covered by the sheet rock, which then was covered by tile. When the toilet came in and got installed-where was the shut off valve? Gone! Luckily my general contractor didn't panic, AND this mistake occurred on an outside wall. My general contractor used a diamond bit to drill through the tile from the bathroom side where the shut-off needed to be, pulled off some siding outside, stuck a nail through and had the plumber weld a pipe to reach the new location. So, Colville, or at least the guys who came out to do my job, were not paying attention to detail. Those were some pretty significant screw ups. They were corrected however. Also, Colville were the only subcontractors we used who did not show up when they said they would and who were hard to get a hold of. The plumbers here are very busy-but still it doesn't reflect well on them.
