Boats
My old carbureted outboard motor had overheated and was too expensive to
repair. A friend purchased a new motor from G & F. He had traded
in a newer model fuel injected engine which had a broken lower unit
(foot). They took the lower unit from my old motor and mounted it on my
friends upper. One of their mechanics offered me $500 for my old
motor. In summary I ended up with a newer, fuel injected engine with
very few hours on it for less than $900.00.
Most of the marine
dealers around here wouldn't fool with a project like this, but G&F
did. I couldn't afford a new engine and would have likely had to sell
my boat. Needless to say they have my loyalty now.
