Morales Roofing & Stucco LLC

Morales Roofing was in the process of replacing my roof, and did not properly lay down shingles and tar paper after they stopped working one afternoon. A late afternoon thunderstorm popped up. My study and part of my kitchen was flooded- literally a waterfall pouring out of the lights and ceiling fans. We had a hard time getting the owner, and he did not even come out to the property that evening but eventually sent one of his workers to bring tarping. The owner said he "wasn't expecting rain". This is south LA, we have thunderstorms every week during the summer. He said initially he would take care of the damage, but once he surveyed the soaked ceiling, sheet rock, and floor, he tried to claim that there was existing water damage. This was after he saw the recording I showed him of the water pouring into the home. It was a battle getting him to restore what had been destroyed, with him trying to squirm out of each repair. I still have a large desk with water damage that was never replaced. The sub contractors he hired to do the sheet rock and painting did actually do a decent job though. Would NEVER use this company again.

It went fairly well.  Mr. Morales met me for an inspection within a few days after contacting them.  They were very prompt with the estimate.  Most of the communication was through email, which was very convenient for me.  The only problem was that we set up a day for the repair and the guy doing to work didn't arrive in the morning when he was supposed to.   I'm not sure what happened, but he came the next day, albeit later than quoted, and did the work. Other than that, they were a pleasure to deal with.

I am very pleased.  The roof looks great!
