This company has done other work for us in the past and we were extremely impressed with their work and their professionalism. So when it came time to have our emissions testing done, we knew we wanted to use Check Engine and trusted they would do a good job and in a prompt fashion. We were not disappointed and plan to use them in the future.

As I was driving to work early Monday morning, I noticed the engine in my daily driver ( a 2004 Ford F-150) had a hard "miss" which increased in severity as a I accelerated. I drove it a little further to see if it would stop as the engine warmed up, but when it didn't I decided to drop it off at Check Engine Automotive - which is about 3 miles from my home. I used their night drop and had my daughter drive me to work. By 10AM I had spoken with their service advisor and had a quote for the repairs. I explained that I could not pick it up before they closed for the day, but was able to give them my payment information right over the phone. My daughter dropped me off after work to pick up my truck, which had the invoice and keys locked inside as they promised. The truck runs perfectly now! Very fair price and I'm impressed with their same day service! We will definitely consider using them again, if the need arises!

It takes literally years for an auto shop to earn our trust, but we've gotten consistently honest estimates and good quality work from this shop for over six years now. We've had work done on two cars over that span. They don't come back with issues they can't show clearly, and estimates come back within standard shop-book ranges (the internet is our friend). Only issue I've ever had was with Goodyear Assurance FuelMax tires I bought there, but they're just a poor product (ZERO wet traction), not their issue.

I really like their willingness to work with me.. I have worked with them in he past and they went out of their way to come pick me up and they helped me coordinate the day so that I was only without my car for one day. And then they picked me back up when it was done. They are also one of the few places that will give me a 12 month parts and labor warranty and they stand up to it too.

It went well. They did charge more than originally quoted. They said it was because more coolant was required than anticipated. I have always been able to obtain service within a day or two. Shorter jobs were finished quickly while I waited. Longer jobs were completed when promised. Once when I had my tires rotated they failed to add air as requested. When I went back they promptly inflated the tires. I have seen some different people there recently. I hope this will not change my overall good experience here.
