My son, who lives in Florida, placed an order through Just Flowers.com. Anna's Florist was contacted to fill the order. When my son placed the order he was told it would be delivered on Mother's Day so he gave my home address. It was not delivered by 8PM as he was told so he emailed them to change the address since I would be at work on Monday. Anna's flowers called our home to set up a time to deliver and left a message. My husband had to run home for something and called me to let me know they called. I called Anna's & told them I thought they had tried to deliver the flowers and was told I would have to go pick them up because the delivery charge was used up. Mind you we live about 2 miles from Anna's. I left my office in Gonzales & got to Anna's there was much confusion. They finally found the order and I was told that they had not attempted to deliver, they were waiting on a phone call from me. I was so mad I couldn't think straight. I left and got to thinking that maybe Anna didn't know I had called earlier, so I called and spoke with her. She said she didn't know I was told they had attempted to deliver and had to pick them up. She was so sorry the girl told me that. I then asked her about the delivery charge and she told me that they just put extra flowers in the arrangement! If there were extra flowers put in then the arrangement was incomplete before. I own a business and know we would have righted this with at least a refund of the delivery fee. 05/11/2011 - I was out of the office Wednesday afternoon and when I came back Anna Guidry had sent a rose to apologize for the misunderstanding. I appreciate the gesture, but had asked for the $8 delivery fee to be credited back to my son. When we have a disatisfied customer, for whatever reason, we ask them what we could do to make it right, and sometimes that means money out of pocket and a loss of commission on our end.
