DOUG SELMAN BUILDERS

Had a new home built after we lost our in a fire. This contractor never showed up on the job but had his cousin who has a full time job as a tire man come check on it after work occasionally. Leaving the "help" to do what they wanted. The home was not even built according to the blue prints. Everything they touched had to be redone 2,3,4 times and still is not done correctly. Subpar is being to kind. This contractor took my money and never paid the subs leaving his drunk friends to have to come finish the job leaving lots of liens that we are still dealing with. RUN, DONT WALK FROM THIS SO CALLED CONTRACTOR!! There is not enough time or place to type the nightmare we went through. He even went as far as posing as my husband to try to get a check released from the bank. Do yourself a favor and keep looking!

They never finished they job, and they never even cleaned up what they started. My roof leaks and I will have to pay out-of-pocket for a new roof. Do not hire this company for any reason!

It is GORGEOUS! I had a vision and Doug Selman brought it to life! LOVE my new space!

They showed up late work a few hours and leave, leaving my roof exposed.  They never replaced any of the rotten wood, they said they would replace either on the porch or the house. They also never replaced the ridge cap that is suppose to be put back onto my home's roof.   They used a nail gun and shot nails thru my ceiling, my house has been leaking since they did the roof.  My Garage they replaced the tin, in the process they broke a window and didn't replace it.  They put the nails in sideways, water leaks in thru these area's, they also put to small of a ridge cap on the garage and not centered so water pours  in when it rains.  I lost 120.00 worth of hay so far.  Not counting with the rain of this past week my new hay got soaked.  All calls to Doug Selman Builders falls on deft ears.  they say they will come out and repair the damage but they never show. 

The job went very well, even though there was empending rain in the area.  The crews were very efficient and completed all work including cleanup in a timely manner.  The price was very reasonable for the amount of work, and we were very pleased.  We would recommend them to anyone needing a roof.
