"After several attempts to contact this customer with no success I decided to drive out to his house. When I first arrived the first thing he said was that his wife was upset at him and she wasn't wanting to remodel. He said that she wouldn't meet us and that he didn't know if any work was going to be done. So I just measured the kitchen and told him that I would wait to hear from him if they decided to remodel the kitchen. I've never heard from him again."
"We appreciate the opportunity to have worked for [Member Name Removed] and his wife, which was a pleasant experience, and we are glad that they are well pleased with their new master bath. Thank you, [Member Name Removed], for the kind words."
Steve supervised EVERY step of the project communicating with his team constantly.
There was NEVER a day when the guys showed up late or not at all.
Daily the work area was left spotless with no issues.
The team did an outstanding job, the completed project looks GREAT.!
I would recommend Kitchens by Design,
to anyone looking for a HIGH QUALITY, HONEST CONTRACTOR.
"Thank you, [Member Name Removed], for the recommendation and for trusting us to upgrade your shower. It was a pleasure working with you."
"We understand the homeowner's concern. Most of the customers we serve live in St Tammany Parish."
"We were grateful for the opportunity to show Ms. [Member Name Removed] what we can do on the drawings, and now we are excited to get started remodeling to provide her with her new kitchen."
"We were sorry and surprised to hear of Ms [Member Name Removed]'s complaints; She was very pleased when we left. We were hired for 8 hours, which became 16 hours, to correct sloppy work in the bathroom that was previously done by someone else. Ms [Member Name Removed] wanted us to use her sheetrock mud and paint, however, when I opened her mud, it was covered with mildew, so I did leave the job to purchase new sheetrock mud. Before we began the job, I explained to Ms. [Member Name Removed], that the bathroom walls could not be properly finished in one pass of sheetrock mud, but it would take 2 or 3 passes. After skimming the walls one time, I strongly urged her to let me do one more pass, but she refused because she did not want to spend the money. She just wanted us to paint, and she did not want 1 prime coat and 2 top coats that was needed, but she insisted that we paint only 1 coat and she would do the other coats. Regarding the alarm, the wire was covered by a lump of sheetrock mud, and when we scraped the walls, the wire was severed, but we repaired the wire and it was working when we left. We installed the vanity cabinet that Ms [Member Name Removed] bought, but could not install the sink and faucet because she bought the wrong faucet. Since we were there, Ms [Member Name Removed] wanted us to spruce of the front of her house also. We hung shutters she bought with the anchors that came with the shutters, we painted the casing on the front door and garage door, and painted the panels under the windows. I explained to her that the panels needed to be sanded to the wood, but she did not want us to spend the time, therefore we scraped the loose paint off and painted the panels. We were hired for 16 manhours and we worked 20 manhours, which includes 4 manhours at no charge, to complete what Ms [Member Name Removed] asked us to do. I had offered to go back to her house to install the sink and faucet when she gets a faucet that fits, and had received no response except this distorted and untrue review."
"I look forward to working for Mr. [Member Name Removed] again. Thank you for the recommendation."
