Residential Roofing Specialist

I had somebody else do some work that I needed done and they didn't do a great job. I called Carl back and he was really good. He was quick and he did some work that he didn't have to do. He did some extra work and he didn't charge me for that. This was after he finished and after I paid him and he didn't even know about it. He did come back and he finished it all for me. To me, it was excellent. He was on time and went out of his way. He showed me different things that I may need in the future and he was reasonable. He would be the first person I'd call if I needed similar service.

Several months after a prominent Lafayette roofing company replaced my roof, I was getting water leaking inside my house. I called the company and they came to inspect the roof. Not finding anything, they caulked the shingles in the vicinity of where the leaks were. Since it only leaked when specific conditions were happening, I could not immediately verify if the fix worked or not. Later I determined that the roof was leaking when there was a driving rain blowing from the north. This only happened once or twice a year. I was not satisfied with their work nor their 'fix' (which turns out did not work).
So I started making phone calls and getting estimates. A friend suggested I call R&R roofing. I found out later that this was actually Residential Roofing. The owner, Carl Fontenot, and one of his workers came out to the house to see what my problem was. He immediately realized that the previous roofing job was sub-standard and pointed out a few places where the workmanship was done poorly. He gave me a quote and was at the house within a couple of days.
The entire crew was very efficient, polite, and cleaned up as they worked. Besides the problems that were initially observed, they located another rotted section and replaced all wood that was bad. The flashing from the previous roofing company was not installed properly so they had to replace that as well. Because they discovered more work to do than initially quoted, It took 1-1/2 days instead of 1 day to complete the job. At all times, they had good communication with me and worked well together.
This company went above and beyond my expectations. I would use them again in a heart beat and would unconditionally recommend them to anyone having roofing problems.
