The Woodhouse Day Spa

My husband and I received massages, facials, and pedicures. Facility was nice and had a great layout. They have and quot; quiet roomsand quot; where you sit in between services or before first service. My first service was massage- great. Then I sat in the quiet room while I waited for my facial. Facial was ok, no extractions, but very relaxing. Then I was directed to the quiet room. At this point I'm super relaxed but the and quot; quiet roomand quot; had a fully clothed older man playing candy crush with the sound on. So I'm sitting in the quiet room, in my robe, listening to candy crush sound to a gentleman that I assumed was waiting for his spouse. I was very uncomfortable that a person was in the back of the salon who clearly was not receiving any services. 10 min later, it was pedicure time. My pedicure was awful. The water was cold, my neck wrap was cold, and the lady working on my feet did not know what she was doing. My husband was right next to me and my woman kept looking at the woman working on my husbands feet to see what to do next. Meanwhile, every 5 min, my woman would get up to clean something, put towels in the warmer, put neck wraps in warmer, etc. Then my woman went to get massaging stones from the warmer to use on my feet and legs.... And they were cold. She even made a joke saying they were cold. She then grabbed the used stones from my husbands pedicure. Needless to say, pedicure was subpar. I received surveys and complained about my experience and encouraged management to contact me and I never heard anything. I have no desire to go back. Too many other salons in the city to enjoy.

We arrived on time and registered at the front desk. The staff was friendly and escorted my husband and me to to our separate changing rooms. After changing into robes and sandals we were escorted to a waiting area where other clients also sat in their robes. It was a little awkward for that reason. We were given basic forms to complete, but our therapists arrived and collected them before we could finish. We were then escorted into the massage room. It was dimly lit with relaxing music softly playing in the background. Our tables were spaced very far apart. Some may not prefer this, but we didn't mind. The therapists spoke very little and only in a whisper, which was VERY nice. My therapist focused a lot on my neck and shoulders (maybe he detected more tension there?) and although I requested moderate pressure, it felt deep enough to elicit a few winces. He was responsive, though, and eased up accordingly. We each enjoyed our massages and after 60 minutes were escorted back to the waiting area where we were encouraged to relax and drink lemon-infused water until we felt ready to return to the changing rooms. Overall, our experience was very pleasant. The atmosphere was very clean, modern and calming. We will return.

I love the environment at this spa! I have had many services at many different locations, but this is one of the best I've ever been to. Services were performed by well trained and very pleasant people. I highly recommend a visit to the Woodhouse Spa!

We had a group of five and had our appointments coordinated so we could spend time together in the quiet room. This was not only so relaxing but a lot of fun. We were able to bring a bottle of wine to make our experience special. All five of us totally enjoyed the services and vowed to return as soon as possible.

I go to this spa once every 4-5 months for a treat. Their services are inconsistent. Sometimes I get someone who is top notch and leave feeling great. Other times I get someone who is just phoning it in or maybe just new/inexperienced. Their products are certainly superior but not worth the high price. I sometimes leave feeling I like I didn't get what I paid for...or paid too much. I will say I have never had and quot;badand quot; experience here. The owner is always around and quite engaged in the day to day...which makes their inconsistency suprising.
