The Radiator Shop

During restoration of my 1957 Studebaker I decided to have the radiator redone.  After calling several places I was getting disappointed because not many people seemed to know what to do on such an older car.  When I finally spoke with The Radiator Shop I was so impressed by the knowledgeable staff, that I decided to bring the radiator to them. 



When I arrived at the shop with the radiator, the manager talked to me and told me what could possibly happen with the old radiator.  Letting me know every possibility of what to expect.  He also told me what he thought would be not only the best but also the most cost effective way to redo the radiator.  He was extremely friendly and informative and I left there knowing that my radiator was in the best hands.



The manager told me it would only take 3 days or so, but I didn't hear anything until I called on the 6th day and was informed it was all ready to be picked up.  No biggie to me as I know they were doing the best job and making sure my old radiator didn't get damaged.  When I picked it up the staff was very polite, helpful, and not in any rush for me to get out of there when I had questions.

My car started smoking on the high rise in New Orleans East, and I pulled over to the side of the road. I saw a big red shop below and called the number on the building. They sent someone up to get me and brought my car down into the shop and fixed me up while I waited.  I found out that they have been there since 1965 and has been the same family owned company. They do all repairs so I will definitely be going back. I found a mechanic I can trust.
