Stewart's Remodeling & Electrical Services' prices are reasonable, they were very professional, they showed up on time, were responsive to my needs, and I was very happy with their service. 

I found them on Angie's List and they are amazingly good. Its the sort of thing that they are super honest. It is one if things things where you do get what you pay for. They were unbelievably professional. They were on time. THey were clean. They brought all these big things through my house and put down paper. It was refreshing to have that type of spirited A body. That is why I went to Angie's List because I had so many people tell  me they can do the job and I later find out they don't know how to do the job.

The experience overall was not good,you had to spend day after day tracking him down, only to set up another appointment that he never intended to show up for. When you were lucky enough to reach him at home, it was more excuses and stories of him overbooking. Strange enough he was never late or (MIA) when it came to picking up a check. He is not a licensed contractor or electrician so buyers beware! You can check into this by checking with your parish's permit office. Mr. Stuart is getting another dishonest licensed electrician to sign off on permits. My situation happened in St. Bernard Parish but he is known to be doing this in the surrounding parishes as well. Thanks for being an outlet to fellow rebuilders for getting the word out.

They were great and they provided emergency service. I called and they had someone out within two hours.

We hired this company in Sept. of 2006, and as of today the work has not been completed. It took the plumber 8 months to almost finish the inside wall work. The work was poor quality. One bathroom had the hot water and cold water pipes run together. The cement work needs to be fixed in order to lay tile, and the pipes are uneven. Kent suggested we go with a tankless water heater, but neglected to tell us that we needed sufficient gas pressure. We are now stuck on how we are going to run gas pipe (more $) now that the walls are closed in. He took the directions booklet so we had no idea what we needed. He suggested pocket lights in an arch; it was a fire hazard and we had to pay another electrician to remove the wires & re-sheet rock the area. We have asked for the $ for the uncompleted work and haven't heard from him since. He is not licensed and uninsured and asks for 2/3 up front and asks for the final check before all work is completed. If you see him coming your way, RUN!
