AMAZING!! Thank the Google gawds for helping me find Shifflett Roofing. Tim and his crew are super. I had them over to look at repairing the flashing on a couple of chimneys on my new house. Tim gave a very fair price and kindly pointed out some SERIOUS problems that the home inspector skipped over...mainly that someone had put “paint on a pig” to make my back roof look nice when it was actually leaking and almost ready to collapse. It would have been a disaster. Tim’s crew got right to fixing it, installed some nice attic vents and cleaned up all the mess (a key element, if you ask me). Like the other reviews say, Shifflett roofing does speedy, great work, fair prices and they’re just really nice people. I’d recommend them to my closest friends.

Roof replacement, with complete repair, at no extra cost (not part of the quote) of flashing around chimney. Excellent work, exceptional attention to detail, on time for quote and work. Completed the job in one day. They returned, at no cost, to check out a leak around chimney unrelated to any of their work. I would be happy to recommend this local company.

Overall, fair price, on time and efficient service. Earned a B on quality only because of a recent small leak, 6 months after installation, around chimney due to recent heavy rains.

Came out to my house in the morning in a huge truck. The guy I spoke with on the phone introduced himself, then introduced me to his coworker and said he would be doing the estimate. The guy I spoke with on the phone then got back into his truck which he kept running the entire time.. sitting in my driveway. The other guy got the ladder out and proceeded to get the estimate. After spending about 5 minutes on the roof, he started using scare tactics... like, 'I'm surprised they let you buy this house with a roof in this condition'. He then went back into his truck and after another 5 minutes came out and showed me the quote. What is interesting is all the extra labor and materials cost that was added on. When compared to the other 2 quotes I had for the same job, Shifflett was the highest. I asked what all this extra stuff was about and he said that my flashing on one side was not even there (not true) and that to do it right he would have to take off the siding. Really? So after spending 10 minutes at my house they drive off. I can't recommend these guys at all because they are looking for insurance money; plain and simple... unfortunately insurance was not covering my repairs. These guys will inflate the price and tell you that you need things when you don't. Also, when someone comes out to give me an estimate, I expect to have an honest conversation and that they at least turn their car off... leaving their truck on gives the impression that they are in a hurry and that you are wasting their time. I gave a higher score for punctuality because they were one of the only roofers that came out to do the estimate a few days after I called.... and now you know why!

He did an amazing job and deserves the highest grades available. He fixed the roof from leaking after two other contractors failed to do so.
