I have been getting my hair cut by Scott over 20 years. I'm always changing the style and Scott goes along with what I want even if it's not the look for my features. But he has the skill to make it work after a few appts. Lets face it sometimes It may take a couple of visits to get the look you want.. The dye he uses on my hair takes 15/20 minutes and covers just the roots. The color is very natural what I really appreciate. I can call him one day and get an appt the next day or two. His shop is always clean and welcoming. He takes the time to talk to you and really get to know you and your style.

Scott is a one man band so he doesn't have anyone answering the phone. This results in you leaving a message and him calling you back at some point, usually the same day. Scott knows how to cut hair and can give a good cut. Don't expect anything edgy or new but a decent cut. He likes to use a quick color that he brushes over your entire head and 10 minutes later you wash it out. I will say he is messy. I stopped going only because of the mess he makes. He drips the color mixture on the floor and on your apron. I'm always afraid he is going to get it on my shoes. He does get it on your skin and I've had to go home and scrub the color off. The last time I went he sat in the next chair to talk to me while the color was setting while he clipped his finger nails. Sorry Scott, that was the last straw.

Scott has been cutting and coloring my hair since graduate school. He does a great job and is reasonably priced. I called on Tuesday and had an appt for Saturday of the same week. I arrived at the time scheduled and was seen right away no waiting period. As usual I was very satisfied with the results. Scott is always up to date on the latest trends in hair care.
