The water heater replacement went well. It was replaced quickly & no problems with it. When we asked the same pumper to fix our toilets & sinks. He had to leave & come back. He lied about having tools and needing to leave & come back several times to fix the sinks & toilets he was paid to fix already. This whole process took several weeks which should have took a day or two. He was suspected of taking a craftsman screwdriver. He denied it & avoided contact & failed to compensate.

Called on a Sunday afternoon because our sink faucet handle broke and could not turn off the water. the pipes were behind a panel due to peculiar construction. the service was prompt and the technicians were able to turn off the water. Since they could not fix the faucet on the weekend, there was no charge, which was very nice. Will call them back when it is time to replace and install a new faucet.

The plumber came out quicker than expected. I actually had to rush to the house! He cleaned the line and ran a free video. Of course, I have a disconnect problem but I will get Roto Rooter to fix it!

First plumber came out and tried to clear the clog. He said he couldn't get to the drum trap and a more experienced technician needed to come out. He was professional and tried to explain to me what was going on. The second plumber came and when I tried to explain what the previous plumber told me, he went on about how the previous plumber didn't know what he was doing, and he wanted to know the other plumbers name so he can retrain him. He also told me that while it would take him a while, he would have the clog cleared "today". Anyway, the second plumber checked my hall bathroom and confirmed that it was draining fine, and we agreed that this bathroom did not need any work. So, he got to working on the Master bathroom. About 45 minutes later, if that, he came out with a bucket with a bit of black stuff in it and told me that's what he got out. He said the drain was not completely cleared but this was the best he could do. He advised that I buy the Pipe Shield product, which I bought, and pour it in the drain daily for a few weeks. He said this would not be an immediate fix, but in a few weeks I would see a difference. He said he would "eat the labor charges" since he was unable to completely clear the clog. My drain at the time was draining a bit better and I was happy that there was a solution in sight. Like an idiot, I even tipped this plumber. An hour later, my son took a shower in the hall bathroom and after his shower, he told me that this tub was now not draining. Lo and behold, I now have two tubs with standing water. My master bath is no longer draining slowly; it's not draining at all and neither is my hall bath. I called Roto-Rooter and asked for the second plumber. When this plumber got in touch with me, he gave me quite a bit of attitude. I was quite surprised because he had instructed me to call him if I had issues. He told me had done all he could. I explained to him that my situation was now worse than when he came and asked him if he expected me to remain with the clogged tubs... he said, "yes, for now." After more discussion, he agreed to come out again and see what he could do, but told me it wouldn't be until about 11:00pm (my original service was supposed to be between 8:00 and 10:00 am and my call regarding the double clogs was at about 6:00PM). I received two calls from customer service. One at about 7:20pm to let me know that they had some emergency calls and the technician would not be able to come until about 11pm. The second call came at 11:43pm to let me know that the plumber was on his way. I told the customer service person I wasn't sure the plumber was still coming out, and dispatch advised me that the plumber already told me that he couldn't do anything. He went on to say the plumber "would come out to do what little he could." After a somewhat heated conversation I asked to cancel the service. I did not want an angry plumber in my house. The second plumber told me that the two bathrooms were on different lines, so why is my hall bathroom now clogged when it wasn't before? Why are my tubs totally clogged when I had a slow drain in one before? What the **** happened? And why is this plumber giving me attitude?? Now, here it is Sunday, morning. Where am I going to find a another plumber on a Sunday? I should note that all my services were at least three hours after the promised time, but I assumed this was the nature of the business.

Top notch service - best plumber experience I've ever had. I called late afternoon on a Saturday and the plumber arrived within one hour. Receptionist was polite and I got a call that he was on his way. The plumber was super pleasant and professional and did an excellent job.

After waiting for about three months to find out what was going on we called another plumber. In less than an hour, he found another leak behind the bathtub. He came back in two days and rerouted all of the plumbing through the attic. No digging was necessary, neither was the new plumbing that Roto Rooter had installed. As soon as the plumbing was rerouted in the attic, all weeping of water from the bricks has stopped. This plumber charged much less than Roto Rooter had charged her. Roto Rooter had even overcharged her for a camera shot of the pipes and Michael said that he would reinburse this money. He didn't. This all caused a lot of stress and anxiety for my 77 year old mother. I would never recommend this company.

"Ms. [Member Name Removed], I am sorry that you feel we provided poor service. We were not originally contacted for a leak. We were contacted for sewer line clog. We provided a video inspection and found a broken sewer line which we have a video recording of. This took place in January. We were contacted in March about the leak in the slab. I visited your mother on 3 occasions and explained to her that it was a water line leak and a reroute was necessary. I even contacted your mothers insurance company on her behalf to try to assist her as she informed me that she lives on a fixed income. Her insurance company would not assist in payment and I attempted to help her in other ways by discounting the service to reroute the line. I spoke with your brother about this on multiple occasions. When I last left your mothers home on my last visit, I left her with a proposal to reroute the lines and left her my business card. I have never heard from her again. I am sorry that you feel we overcharged or misdiagnosed the problem. Additionally, there was never a charge for the camera service as it is free. I would be glad to meet with you and your mother to show the video and talk to you further about this. Michael McCloskey General Manager"

Wonderful. I called about 8:30a on a Monday morning before a Tuesday holiday. I was taken care of by Dawn on the phone. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I had questions, she had answers. She gave me several appt slot options for the same day. As Dawn said I rec'd a phone 30 minutes before the plumber was scheduled to arrived, at the beginning of the appt slot I had chosen. Nick arrived - friendly, neat & professionally dressed, and knowledgeable. There were 2 units w a total of 4 1/2 baths, 2 kitchens, and 1 laundry room. Nick checked every drain and gave me his professional opinion. All of which seemed completely accurate. Nick was thorough, clearly knew what he was doing, and took pride in a job well done. He had an apprentice/helper w him who wasn't as thorough nor helpful nor knowledgeable. The post work clean-up could have been better, but it was not bad by any measure. Our drains are clear and we are very happy. From start to finish Nick was w us about 2 hours.

The job to be performed was piping work and install faucet because we installed new countertops and sink in the kitchen. The new sink was a drop in and also deeper in depth from previous sink and the boss (wife) wanted a new faucet so I decided since I was getting a plumber to do the piping that they could install everything at one time. First off I called Roto-Rooter and had a technician (Calvin Danos) come out to give me a quote. The process to get a technician was good with dispatch and Rot-Rooter. The technician showed up on time and gave me a quote. The quote was $210 an hour, which I thought was outrageous, with the job to be completed in two hours for a total of $420 minus the $40 coupon that you can use from Angie's list. The technician said they take the coupon and we agreed on the price of $380. I asked the technician if I needed to call dispatch back and scheduled the appointment. The technician (Calvin) said that he was off on the date of the work but that he would still come out and do the job and also schedule the appointment with Roto-Rooter. The day of the service arrives and I get a call that the countertop installers would be running late. At this time I called Calvin (he gave me personal cell phone to update him of any changes) a call to let him know that the installers would be running late. He told me that he and his wife had plans for later on in the evening. Well the installers arrived 30 minutes later than the scheduled 9:00 am appointment. I call Calvin back (four times) to inform him that the installers were at my house and it shouldn't affect his 1:00 pm appointment of work, only to get his voicemail four times. I finally get Calvin on the phone at 3:45 pm for him to tell me that he was doing work around his house and he didn't check his phone, and also to tell me that he would not be able to make the appointment. His excuse was from our conversation in the morning when we actually talked and him telling me that he and his wife had plans so he didn't think the job was still scheduled. At this time (3:45 pm) I call Roto-Rooter and they tell me that nothing was on the schedule to show up at my house. I guess Calvin decided to do this job on the side. Anyways Roto-Rooter was able to send another technician to my house the same day (this is a Saturday by the way). The technician arrived around 5:15 pm and was complete by 6:00 pm. They only do service on Saturday's until 6:00 pm so I tip my hat to Roto-Rooter and the technician that did the work (Billy Bennett). Billy did a great job and was very professional. He quoted me a price of $210 an hour which I said I would do $200, with the coupon it ended up being $160. He only did the piping work as I installed the faucet waiting on Calvin to show up. This was a job that I could have taken care of with three trips to Home Depot and buying the correct tools. It was easier and probably would cost the same to hire a plumber at $160.

The toilet itself wasn't tighten down enough. I tightened it up myself. I haven't used a plummer in a long time, but I thought the price was reasonable. He did respond quickly.

Nobody likes spending that much, but it was cheaper than $300. The guy was great. They sent out somebody the day I called to assess the situation. The service guy came the next day and took care of the problem promptly. He answered all my questions, showed me the camera down the drain and what was going on with my price. He was real helpful and informative.
