Everything works well now. Robert was polite and professional.

I've had them a couple of times when I locked my key in the car.  They were good.  All I needed him to do was get me into my car.  They came pretty quickly; they came within a half hour.  He was pleasant, he was very nice and did what he had to do, and he was finished.

Showed up exactly when the dispatcher said they would arrive. Did the job quickly and professionally. He was friendly and funny. Cost was $65 and was a much less expensive option than breaking a window. Would highly recommend.

Bobby arrived promptly and very quickly changed my time.  He was super nice and very professional.  Having a flat tire isn't pleasant but Bobby made it as pleasant as it could be!

I will not use them again.  Pop A Lock had good reviews, so I called.  I told the lady I had a 10% coupon from Angie's List.  She said ok, a technician will be calling me.  "Sean" called right away which was good.  When he got near my house he called to say he couldn't find parking.  I said, take your time, let me know how I can help.  He called again to complain he could not find parking.  I didn't know what to do. He finally arrived, and when I showed him my coupon he said he can't take it.  I said the lady told me I could.  Well, if he takes it then he has to increase my charges to reflect what he paid for parking (a few quarters).  He was very whiny and talked a lot.  I called the lady back and while she was checking, Sean came back and said he spoke to the owner who said he should take the coupon.

Spoke to locksmith, promised to arrive one day after six.  Did not receive a call until 8:45 to let me know he was running late.  I told him that it was too late.  We re-scheduled for the next day, and he called to let me know that he was on his way.  He arrived, and the work was completed.  Work met my expectations.

It went well. They were very prompt, they came out the same day I called. They called before they got there to let me know they were on the way.

Very poor. The person who came broke a lock and then blamed the lock for being bad. He than sold me two locks and I had no choice at that hour of the evening but to buy them.
The main entrance lock which was working fine before he came. After he re-keyed, it is not working properly. Again, he blamed the lock not his workmanship for the problem.

The Solution to a Problem
I called Pop-A-Lock and he gave me the estimate over the phone as a flat charge on a Monday evening and they were able to come out the next day @ 11AM and reinstall the same handle set.  No trip fee.  No upfront charge no matter what.  Just a straight up estimate on getting the handle set and lock above it replaced.  I supplied the replacement hand set.  He rekeyed the locks with the Smart key technology key to make sure my original keys would fit the new lock.  Done within an hour. 
The Cause of the Problem

The handle set that Pop-A-Lock replaced was originally purchased from Home Depot and was installed by a Home Depot sub who installed three (3) doors and three hand sets and made modifications to the door frames as well as applied mortar to the concrete door step  as needed about four years ago.  While the doors work well, the Home Depot sub screwed up the mortar at the foot steps because it is crumbling and apparently he could not figure out how to install the handle set or the handle set was defective.  In addition, the Home Depot sub walked with the Allen Wrench that you needed to unscrew the latch and also took the tool that comes with the kit to rekey the lock with the Smart Key technology.

We have called Pop-A-Lock twice since August to let us back into our
house. Both times were in the evening and they were the only locksmith
we were able to get a hold of. It was a fairly easy job (just a knob
lock) and their fee of ($80) was a bit pricey. However, the second time
we called them the technician only charged us $60, even though we were
quoted $80, which was appreciated. Usual response time was about 30
minutes.

They were the first name that came to mind. The first time I used them I was not in the best neighborhood (Tulane and Broad) at night and they came quickly which I really appreciate.

They were just fine.

They were a good company and I would recommend them to others and would use them again in the future if needed.
