Orleans Sheet Metal & Roofing

I needed to replace one 10-foot section of galvanized gutter. I was pleasantly surprised that Orleans agreed to come out to give me an estimate. They said "no job is too small." The estimator came within two days and was very nice and professional. He told me that processing the estimate would take at least a week. After following up at least twice, I finally received an estimate about three weeks later for $975 to replace 10 feet of gutter. I suspect this was either a mistake or thier way of saying that, actually, my job was "too small." Needless to say, I knew that price was way out of line. I eventually got the work done by Brehm's for $300 (I think they may have actually bought the gutter from Orleans), and they told me that it would have been even cheaper but they havea $300 minimum for all jobs. I'm sure Orleans does quality work and offers competitive prices for bigger jobs, but I would never again consider using them for any repair or small residential work.
