NOLA Clutter Busters is great! I hired her for 3 or 4 half-days to help pack and move us across town. She has extensive experience with packing and works quickly to help you get it all done. She also helps you de-clutter as you go, and even hauls the stuff off when you're done. On move day she helped 'wrangle' the moving crew and was a tremendous help in unpacking the kitchen while movers were bringing in furniture. Our move was much less stressful as a result.  She is professional and warm, confident but never pushy. I liked her so much I hired her to come back a few weeks later to hang artwork and photograph collections. She's a natural at this, we loved her placement ideas and she did all the hanging herself in just a couple of hours. Amazing! Highly recommended.

Tami Hills came in and took care of everything that the job required.  She shopped for drapes and rods, furniture pieces and accessories.  Art that was already on-site was framed and hung. The carpet was picked out.  The closets were cleaned out, boxed up and moved out.  She has a contractor that she uses on her jobs for the heavy work, repairing and painting.  His labor billing is separate from her design and de-cluttering work. 
This was a really big job that took almost 2 weeks and came out absolutely perfect!  And the room got rave reviews from the guests and the rest of the family.  So much so, that she is coming back to do two more rooms at the end of the year!!  She has a wonderful sense of humor and was really easy to work with, but she does have a knack of moving a project along to completion on dead line.  We are very happy with her and the result of her harmonious, tasteful, artsy sense of design.  Tami is coming back to our house!

She did a fine job! I was pretty satisfied. It was a lot straighter than it was. She did move a few things that I needed to access out of the areas where I put them and I had to go back and put them where I knew where they were but overall she did a fine job. She is good at her job, very friendly but very goal oriented. So anybody who tends to procrastinate or get off track or whatever she is very good at getting them back into the process. Price was pretty reasonable. It took a while for us to really touch base. I do realize she is a sole proprietor and it takes a while to kind of do things but it did take a good while for us to actually touch base and get connected. She was on time.

Tami is FANTASTIC! I highly recommend her services to anyone with decorating, organizing and especially decluttering projects in their home or business. She is worth her weight in gold, and someone that I plan to keep on speed dial as long as I am living in the New Orleans area. 
- Tami has an engaging and bubbly personality. A pleasure to work with. I've learned a lot from her that I can use later. 
- She's highly skilled and capable with a unique skill set that allows her to walk you through a project from conception to strategy to design to purchase. She will even install and hang things. She comes with her own toolkit, tape measure... the works. 
- Tami is amazingly efficient. She puts in 100% energy and focus into her task and does not waste your time chatting, lollygagging, etc. I got more stuff organized having her over for a 6 hours than I had done the entire 6 months before I began working for her. Just let her in, and let her go! (You do need to be ready to make a lot of decisions ala keep, throw away, donate... be ready for this!) 
- Tami filled up her truck with things I wanted to donate to Goodwill and Green Project, and she took them with her when she left. No huge disposal and donation tasks for me! 
- I love the way that Tami really worked with my vision and style for my home after our first consult. She seemed to always be thinking of us and communicating with us through text and email. She even sends us finds from craigslist, the web, garage sales, and furniture stores. Even if I'm not thinking about my project, she is. 
All in all, picking Tami and Nola Clutter Busters is a win. Big bang for your buck and worth every penny!

My first experience with an organization expert.  Tami was enthusiastic and a joy to work with.  She did an outstanding job.  But note the client has to work to - can't just direct what gets thrown away, donated or stays.  She will haul everthing off too, but you lose the tax deduction if you don't donate yourself.  All in all, it was a good experience.

In response to the donation items: This is a complicated issue for NOLA Clutter Busters- We strive to assist clients with getting their donation items to the appropriate donation center. Sometimes it involves going to several different locations : a thrift store, the green project ( for building materials, leftover paint etc) these locations are not always open for donating when the project is completed, or there is no donation center in their area. Which means NOLA Clutter Busters has to touch the items twice. Loading them up at the clients, unloading them at our storage area, then reloading them to donate them. This takes a lot of extra time and energy, and gas. NOLA Clutter Busters can send you a donation slip in the mail, or via email if requested. Keep in mind all of this is done on our time. Thank you for doing business with NOLA Clutter Busters- we LOVE Done!"

The first session was organizing of my closet. It was hard work but I could not do it for myself and needed Tami's kind but firm approach to wade through years of clutter. When finished the closet was a revelation, and every day of my life is better because of it, as we use our dressing closets everyday and I have no more frustration with it.
Tami also came two more times to organize with the children. She helped them make choices about what to keep, how to organize, and they were very proud of themselves in the process.

I had a middle bedroom which was so full of junk that we could not even walk around in there.  I was overwhelmed and had no idea where to start.  Tami came to our house and helped us tremendously.  She actually convinced my husband to part with some of the junk in the room (no small task), and then took it away with her and sent us a receipt.  She also helped us sort the items which remained and find a place for these items, either in the guest room or in another part of the house.

Tami was wonderful!  She came in & knew exactly what needed to be done to get results.  She even gave me tips here and there to control clutter.  We completed EVERYTHING and I had the successful yard sale soon after that.  I couldn't have done it without her help.  Thank you so much Tami!

It was amazing.  
Tami called to schedule us and called the day before to confirm.  She was very punctual and very professional.  Her cheerfulness and positive attitude made it very easy for us to make the decisions that had stymied us before:  how to rearrange some of our spaces....what could stay and what needed to go.
We ended up not needing to get rid of very much except some boxes earmarked for donations.  She even took the donation boxes and delivered them for us.  Everything else, she showed us how we had plenty of room and made it easy to rearrange the space.  I'm thrilled.
She worked very hard, even moving furniture from one room to another to reconfigure some space. I'm actually  hiring Clutter Busters  again to help us with a more extensive project.  
We say A+ across the board!.

I cannot quite explain, nor can I exaggerate the extent to which Tammy has helped me. She has changed my house, my organization, my space and and my mindset. She took a space that was beyond cluttered, which I had been hopelessly and cluelessly looking at for 4 years, and turned it into a home...right before Mardi Gras. On Muses Thursday. 2 blocks from the parade route. Seriously. She was amazing. Never pushy and never judgy, she swept in perfectly ontime and went righ to work with me, changing my space and freeing me from the baggage of crud I had mindlessly held on to for years. And when she left, she even emailed me a list of things to do to make it even better. I can't begin to express the difference this has made in my life and my mindset, my comfortability in my own house, and my general outlook on the world. An organized house really is the difference between feeling in control and out of conttrol of your life, as well as wanting people to come over as opposed to being scared they might stop by. That's a huge thing, living on a parade route. I had two very cluttered rooms and a kitchen that needed help, as well as a rental space to which I could funnel spare furniture. And I needed help staging my rental for pictures to rent it out online . Tammy came in, moved the whole house around, and created really cool spaces out of things I would not have imagined. She even taught me how to properly stage the rental so it looked hospitable and appealing. It was kindof amazing. And now I'm earning money!!! Tammy is wonderful. If you're skeptical, don't be. If you're dubious, there's no reason. This woman knows her stuff, and she's more than excited to help you to a better life with less mess - and to allow you to free yourself from the crao that burdens your daily life. Do not hesitate. If you need her, cal her. She'll change your life.

Having someone come into your space- sight unseen - can be scary to some. As an Professional Organizer for many years I have the ability to quickly see the space and figure out how to make it function better. Which sometimes requires moving furniture around and creating a big mess before it gets better. Sometimes people get "stuck" with their space. We tackled several rooms- juggling several pieces of furniture to other spaces.
