"Thank you, Although you are on the other side of the world, lol, we enjoyed working with you because of your ability to communicate effectively with us. Although it was a 4 hour drive I would make the trip to work with you again."
We will be doing a huge kitchen remodel soon, and I will certainly use Moving Forward for that project.
"Thanks a million Member. We are thankful you allowed us to come into your home and work without interference or any undo pressure or drumming up negative energy. There is no project that goes without obstacles but when you hire professionals it is there duty to resolve those challenges seamlessly. That cannot be accomplished if the homeowners are in the way trying to think and sometimes work for you. I really thank you and your family for hire us and letting us do our jobs."
I have heard back from this company since the review was posted, we have ageed upon a resolution to the transition installation issue.
"We install floors in over 200 homes a year and it goes without saying that you can't please everyone. We would not be able to continue or trade if every project we have done was conducted as you have described. Scott and Craig Uhl have flagrantly attempted to bash our company because of there ignorant understanding of home improvements. First of all you should know not to expect a steak if your on a beer budget. You purchased cabin grade material (throw away product) and expected the installation to compensate for the poor quality of the material. That will never happen. you have purchase the good stuff if thats what you expect. Second, A problem isn't a problem unless it can't be solved. When we were confronted about the slight indentation in the floor we responded immediately by removing the board and replacing it after it was discovered that there was something underneath it. I don't see why there is such a big deal being made about that. It was corrected. That is what the walk through is about, if you see something out of place mention it and get it corrected. It was one tack in one section of the boards (1 spot out of 800 soft of wood). I feel like we were dealing with scammers because you all wanted to hold us responsible for the curtain bracket coming out of the wall when I clearly pointed out to you that the brackets were hung using the wrong type of anchor from the beginning and my guys didn't touch the curtains anyway to cause the problem so that doesn't qualify as "our" work you had to get other guys to come back and complete. Finally, Anytime a customer becomes irate and begins using obscene language, my organization takes that as a threat and discontinues our services. After being cursed out three times by Scott after all of the work was completed we decided to stop responding to him about the curtain brackets. Life is to delicate and especially in New Orleans things happen to fast to take people for granted. I do recall that Scott was nearly thrown out of the store were they purchased the flooring from for being irate about the price of the reasonably discounted second hand material he purchased. At that time he was intoxicated from medication he was taking because he fell off of his scooter according to CJ Uhl. I assumed he had to be intoxicated during our exchange which is why he was so enraged about every little thing. I am sorry it didn't work for you guys but after all you have said hear your floor still does look really good in my opinion."
UPDATE 10.8.2012
Even though my warranty expired a couple of months ago, he came out and repaired the issue at no extra cost.
"Thanks."
