LUMBER LIQUIDATORS

The sales people were excellent. They were professional and courteous, even when I changed my order. They accepted a partial deposit, and held my product. When I called or showed up, they quickly looked up my order. I called them about 20 minutes ahead of time when it was time to pick up, and they were outside with the wood.

Even though I ordered the wood approximately 4-6 weeks ahead of project and was called and informed it was in stock in store and ready for pickup- when my contractor went to pick up the flooring in 2 separate trips we were told that
1) they accidentally sold my floors to someone else and no longer have it in store, necessitating a 4 day wait and $100 charge for "freight charge"2) they did not have it in stock and needed to pick it up from another store 1.5 hours away but when we made a 3rd trip we were told that3) that store had incorrect inventory and did not have it in stock.Now I have an unfinished project and no date of when I will have the rest of my floors.

I CALLED BELLA WOOD AND WAS TOLD BY THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT THE FLOORING MATERIALS I PURCHASED WERE DEFECTIVE, A MILLING ISSUE. THE MANUFACTURER, OVER THE PHONE, TOLD ME TO STOP THE JOB UNTIL NEW MATERIALS COULD BE PROVIDED. THE NEW MATERIALS "HAVE THE SAME DEFECT AS THE STUFF YOU ALREADY HAVE" I WAS TOLD BY THE INSTALLER. I THEN CALLED LUMBER LIQUIDATORS AND CANCELLED THE JOB, RETURNED THE FLOORING AND I AM NOW WAITING FOR MY CREDIT CARD TO BE DEBITED. ITS BEEN OVER A WEEK AND I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY CREDIT. THE WAY THIS SCAM WORKS IS THIS. LUMBER LIQUIDATORS AND BELLA WOOD ARE THE SAME COMPANY. THEIR INSTALLERS ARE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS. WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM, BELLA WOOD SAYS YOU SHOULD GET YOUR MONEY BACK. LUMBER LIQUIDATORS SAYS THAT YOUR FLOORING IS NOT DEFECTIVE BUT THE INSTALLER DIDN'T DO THE JOB CORRECTLY. THE INSTALLER SAYS BELLA WOOD HAS DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS. AND SO ON AND SO ON. THE INSTALLER HAS SINCE LEFT THE AREA, LUMBER LIQUIDATORS HAS NOT REFUNDED MY MONEY AND BELLA WOOD SAYS THEY ARE LOOKING INTO THE ISSUE. BOB VILLA AND HDTV SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO ASSOCIATE THEMSELVES WITH BELLA WOOD / LUMBER LIQUIDATORS. I HAVE SINCE GOOGLED LUMBER LIQUUIDATORS AND BELLA WOOD AND WAS AMAZED AT THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. IF I HAD DONE THIS INSTEAD OF BELIEVING BOB VILLA I WOULD'T BE IN THE SITUATION I AM IN TONIGHT.
