I had a coolant leak so they eventually had to take part of the engine off and replace a thermostat. They were quick, it was fairly complex work. It was good. It wasn't great because I had to take it back, they forgot to put the cover back on the engine. The price was reasonable.

It was too expensive to fix. I donated the car to VOA. They suggested Bridge House but I never got a scheduled pickup. Keith's did bug me a bit to get the process finished but it was not there fault.

As I drove home from that initial inspection, it squeaked nonstop so I called them and they said it was because they cleared the brake line.  I called them after two days to ask if the part had come in and it had, so I went over right away and they finished in 45 minutes and charged me $122.  I was thrilled.  Then I went to drive home and the car squeaked when I backed it up although the new nonstop squeaking was gone.  I went to tell them and they said they would have someone look at it.  They came back and said I needed the caliper replaced---and they also recommended that I replace rotors and something else for a grand total of almost $500 on top of what I just paid for. I said "What????"
Basically, I went in with one problem, came out with another, they fixed the problem they caused, charged me for it, and I still have the same problem!!!!

I've been a regular Firestone customer for years. Only because finding independent quality mechanics that are economical and timely can be terribly tough. Been in NOLA about a year, figured I'd try some of the locals. Did a Google search, found Keith's and some of the customer comments were positive, so I gave them a try. My vehicle had been making an odd sound and was overdue for a tune up. So asked them to take care of this issue. I picked up the car after a few days and it was covered in bird droppings, the paper floor mats were still in the car and covered in oil. As I drove off, lights starting flashing on the dash that had never illuminated prior. Furthermore, the car was making even louder sounds than prior and was idling/accelerating very erratically. Unfortunately this occurred as I was rushing off to work on a Friday afternoon. Since they are closed on the weekend I had to bear through these problems until Monday. I returned the vehicle Monday, they (to their credit) claimed to have replaced a cam shaft sensor however this did not fix the issue. It was determined that the light had come on secondary to the timing belt and that this item would need to be replaced. I did not trust them to perform this repair so I took it back to Firestone. Firestone determined that one of the new ignition wires installed by Keiths' had been damaged and was poorly mended with electrical tape. Needless to say, I had to pay Firestone to re-do the tune up, to the tune of over $600. Very frustrating.

I was advised by my oil change guy that I needed to have my vehicle checked out for a bad leak that he saw in the front  transfer case.  When I took it to Keith's Auto Repair they told me that the leak he mentioned was not that bad and that there were leaks in the cooling system that should be repaired first.  Three weeks prior to this visit, Keith's had worked on the cooling system, replacing a cracked part, the thermostat and the thermostat housing all within in that system and per my request performed a cooling system pressure check and assured me that the system was water tight and no other leaks were visible. The cost of this first visit was approximately $425.
Apparently, they failed to adequately repair the system at the first visit and it resulted in my paying an additional $457 in repairs, for a total of $882.00.  I feel that I was grossly overcharged for the work performed on the cooling system.
We went to this garage based on the reviews that they have on Angie's List.  We are new to the neighborhood and want to frequent small businesses in the area.  On our first visit, sometime in October, my husband was having a problem with the electrical system in his truck. They kept the truck for 2 days, replaced a part and told us that they were pretty sure they found the problem. This cost $225.  About 2 months later, it started having the same problem again.  We took it to another garage , who ran a diagnostic and found and fixed problem right away to the tune of $290 more.
As a result of theses experiences, I am left feeling that I was not treated fairly and that I was taken advantage of.

The guys were very professional, and explained to me what they were doing. They didn't pressure me to do more than was needed, which I appreciated. They also have a really nice waiting area with a comfortable leather couch.

My auto had not been serviced for over a year except for oil changes. I requested a general inspection including  fluids, oil change, and check of fuses.
I was told  by (Jason 1)  I could get most of general inspections items included in the oil change. No general inspection needed.
I was asked by (Jason 2) if I would be waiting; Yes I was; therefore they would be working on my car right away.
Keith's Auto was very busy,  Coffee and newspaper available; My little dog was welcomed, Larry came over to pet him and  share his dogs stories. I was referred to nearby eatieries for PoBoys but my car was ready by now and servies completed 11:47am.
I was pleasantly surprised at the service cost; I was impressed with the diversity, number of females, and varied age of customers; also, the calm interactions between staff; basic informative discussions with phone customers and those present (what needed to be done to their vehicles).
My experience was very pleasant . I commented on the number of females clientel--Jason 2 said, the deceased owner wanted females to be treated liked his grandmother or a member of his family.

They're pretty personable. They seem honest and can remember your name. They get to you fairly quickly. You get the impression that they're being pretty honest with you. They don't seem to gouge, the prices are pretty comparable.

My 2003 Ford Ranger truck had died in my driveway and would not even start when we tried to jump it. It was a recently new battery so we were pretty sure the problem was in the electrical connection somehow. Since we had recently moved and were new to the area I resorted to Angie's list for a referral for auto repair and found Keith's to be one of the closest shops that had good reviews. Angie's list has never steered me wrong yet so I called Keith's and told them I would have AAA tow it in to them. AAA was actually able to get the truck started so I drove it to Keith's. They could not have been nicer! We waited while the service was completed which took less than an hour. I am thankful it was a simple fix (repaired connector cables) but I also feel that even had iteen something more serious they would have been able to handle it. They are truly an honest, friendly and reliable operation and you can bet we'll be using them for all our future automotive needs.

They are knowledable and have very good prices. My grand daughter bought her car from them. It was making a slight noise and they drove it and told her what was wrong with it and what to do. Most places charge you to just to look at it. He is very honest and dependable.
