Quick service for a small job confirming load bearing

I needed to remove a load bearing wall. I called him 9am and he came the same day, provided me with a letter for my permit and answered all my concerns. I would definitely call again if needed.

Kennon Crockett Designs did a great job drafting plans for my renovation project.

Mr. Crockett engineered a house for me in Slidell, Louisiana: 1600 sqft and raised 10' off the ground in a coastal flood zone. He seemed to be the only local engineer who could be bothered with such a small project. His plans passed St. Tammany inspection. My only issue with him was related to our communication during the revision process of the plans. Ultimately he provided everything I wanted. I would definitely use his services again and recommend him.

He assessed the problem, explained it well to my buyer, and gave us His professional opinion of what could be done to remedy it. He also was proactive in bringing along a contractor so that we could immediately have an estimate of the cost of remedying the problem. I highly recommend him.

Extremely good service. After hiring a different company, which took two weeks, and still failed to have an accurate blueprint. Kennon came and did all three that I needed in 24 hours. He also helped me find a good contractor to help me correct the mess that the previous company made with the parish permit office. His dedication was a relief to a very stressful situation, I highly recommend him.

Mr. Crockett was very professional and promised to deliver my Blue Prints in a timely manner. However he provided my services one week ahead of his promised time line. Highly Recommend.

Took my money, did not go under the house and provided no report. I hired Mr. Crockett to evaluate my foundation as the General Home Inspector from my purchase provided pics showing there were major issues. 5/21/21 Mr. Crockett went to the house and performed a visual inspection of the interior. He sent me the following text: "I did the inspection. I will send the report. Can you send the money? I paid him immediately. That evening I still had not received the report. When I inquired I received the following text: Crazy busy. I will tell you that you have nothing to worry about.... When I mentioned that a GHI & two foundation companies sited major needed repairs he back pedaled and said he wanted to go back to take another look just to be sure. At that second appointment he sent a foundation company representative. When I asked where Kennon was he told me that Kennon does not get under houses. To date, almost three weeks later, He has never provided a report. When I asked for a refund, he gave me back less than half and said he was keeping the rest for his oral report. I would not trust this man or his work.
