JOHNSTON HOME IMPROVEMENTS

We were extremely pleased with David's work. The best thing I can say about him is that he was extremely reliable and extremely responsive. He answered his phone, he returned voice messages, and he returned emails. He kept us in the loop with everything that was happening during the renovation. He was very patient in answering any of our questions and was more than happy to work with us on what WE wanted to do with the house. I cannot say enough about how important this is for a contractor. We wanted to make the house energy efficient. David was quite knowledgeable in the basics, was very responsive to what we wanted to do, and was willing to go out of his way to do research online, consult other contractors, and generally make sure that he did the best job possible. As many horror stories as I have heard and read post-Katrina, my contractor was exceptional. He did fantastic work (out place looks great and we are very, very happy), he was reliable, he was easy to get in touch with, he kept us involved throughout the long job, he was willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy, and he put up with our delays and occasionally changing our minds about what we wanted to do. I could not have been any happier in my choice of David Johnston (Johnston Home Improvements) as my general contractor. I would re-hire him in a second for another job and have already recommended him to my in-laws and anybody else I meet looking for a contractor. David also does smaller jobs, so do not hesitate to call him for a quote or with any questions. You will not be disappointed!
