Pest Control
When I originally signed up, it was with SafeGuard, a small west bank company who provided both services. SafeGuard was sold to J&J about three years ago. Ever since J&J took over I've had to hound them to come service my house. It would not be unusual for me to call the office twice, if not three times to get someone over.
For pest control, I had a quarterly contract. There wasn't one single visit where they came when they should have (meaning four months from the previous visit). I had to call and remind them that a quarter has passed and I'm due for another pest control visit. I've had to call the office numerous times to indicate a preferred service time. My husband and I both work during the day, and like to be home for the pest control visits. J&J always came Monday through Friday during the day, despite my phone calls requesting to have the technician come when we were home after 3. There were some times when the office would say the technician would be there at 4:00pm so we could be home, but the technician never showed up.
After years of having to hound a company I pay to service my house, I'm finally done with them and have moved on!
