It Takes 2 Movers

I use Angie's list for this job and it turned out to be a nightmare from ****. The first time this company showed up they were late. (Marvin said the truck had broken around the corner from my house on South Hairston. When he finally arrived he was by himself and had a truck that even Stevie Wonder could see it was too small. Marvin stated that the person he went to pick up didn't want to work. Then that David had someone else coming. The never showed up. We wait for almost an hour. I finally told to leave. Saturday David called and begged me to give them another chance. He stated that he would give a good deal and worker would have to pack and move me no how it took. So I agreed to give them another chance. Big big mistake. They packing around 5 or 5:30. While they were packing I show Marvin the kitchen cabinets so they would needed to be done. Out of nowhere he said that his boss(David) said they couldn't packed dishes if they still in the cabinets. So told him that I would take all the dishes out. I told Marvin that would not be helping them anymore. They had the first load ready at midnight. So I asked how much is my bill, Marvin said he didn't know and he had to call David. I told him to make the call and put David on speaker so there would no misunderstanding. When they brought the third load and unloaded the truck they said that everything was done and that he did a walkthrough with my daughter. Well Marvin had lied and left boxes kid furniture in the house and left the items that were under the carport. I tried calling Marvin and he didn't answer. I tried to call his boss, he answered and I told him what was going on he said he would call me back. It never happened. I ended up hiring another company to complete the job and it took less an hour to get it done. These scammers are on Angie's list which I have concluded that Angie's list aren't verifying or checking these companies out like they are. I will never use Angie's list or any similar companies AGAIN! 😠 😠😠😠😠😠 Never again!
