Be very aware of what the inspection entails. It is a very superficial inspection, that does not go into structural details, etc. This may be a very useful service if one is attempting to purchase a house that one has not personally seen. There are many disclaimers in the contract. For example "representative lighting fixtures inspected." This means that they don't look at all the lights, just a few. This applies to the entire inspection. If the property is in superficially decent shape, I would not expect these folks to uncover hidden defects.
