Extremely well! He was prompt, worked quickly and was reasonable with his pricing. When setting the appt. information was gathered and several possibilities were discussed for the repair depending on what the repairman would find (this is old property in the French Quarter which could be more challenging).

The repair person fixed both locks so that my cost was just for several new keys and his time. The second lock had its problem because the door had settled at a different rate than the frame. With my permission he carved out a small addition to the lock plate setting, moved through lock plate, and the problem was solved. I did have the lock changed so the key that opened the front door would also open the rear door. He was very professional, enjoyed the work, and was easy to work with.

Great experience. It was easy to schedule within a few days of my call. The locksmith arrived promptly and was professional. He rekeyed everything. Our backdoor has a special advanced locking mechanism with which I was unfamiliar. He explained how it worked and showed me how to use its features. He also provided great advice to safely store one set of the Original Master Keys, and only use it to have any future duplicates made (he provided me with several copies while here). 
We have a set of tall, narrow double doors leading to a bedroom. There was not a bolt to secure either door, therefore no way to close the doors securely. He recommended what hardware would work and the style that would compliment the door and door knobs. He made an appointment for the installer to come the next day. He installed a beautiful, high-quality 12" surface-mounted sliding bolt at the top of one of the doors that matches in style and proportion to the other hardware. It looks great and is functional. The long length allows me to easily reach it, The top mount eliminated the need for hardware to be drilled into 150 year old floors, and nothing to hurt a bare foot. 
Professional, easy to schedule an appointment, knowledgable about the needs of the homes in the area, and very reasonably priced.

See above.  Called another locksmith recommended by my contractor, he came out, rekeyed and have had no problems with the locks.

I asked for a discount because the lock that fell out of the door had been put in by Rault this past year. I expected either a good explanation why the job deserved the full price or a $5 discount for this or another job. The locksith got agressive jumping to conclusions and stating things that he said I had said - which I hadn't really. It  was filtered through his lens. I started to explain my perspective.
Then locksmith went ballistic on me - I had two other people who overheard the whole thing who stood there watching him and were wondering if they needed to intervene. That is how it went. I stepped back away from him wondering, thinking to keep the discussion on the open porch.  After he left, I calmed down and called their office. As we talked I said that I thought the locksmith had come out to the house ready to pick a fight. He was primed for something  (I hadn't done anything out of line, and had walked over to check if I had provoked this with the other two people who watched it.). I said that there were lot of other locksmiths around, trying to say that they could learn from this to give better service, and the person at the office said, that now I was getting nasty putting him down. Then I realized, it is the WHOLE business not just that one locksmith that is wrapped so tight.
Well, there are a lot of other locksmiths around. I have used them twice before, but will never use them again.and

They are an A-1, established locksmith that I call because I trust them. When I go to a hardware store and get a key made, they often don’t work right.  When I go to Rault, they always work right the first time.  They do perfect work.  If you ever need a lock changed, you never worry about an employee not being honest and having a key.

We have used them a lot over the last several months. They are very quick and know what they are doing. They will come out if needed, but sometimes we take what we are having a problem with to them.

Came out to rekey the locks after we moved. Guy was professional. Couldn't come out the day I needed him to but came out the next day. Totally fair price and I would use them again in a second. Answered some random lock questions via phone very helpfully as well.

Front door would jam/lock by accident locking me out. All three doors x 2 locks are the same barrel. Replacing all three sets of locks would have been a huge cost. Rault came over immediately, sat outside my house and rekeyed all the doors in less than an hour. For about a third of what it would have cost me to do it from Lowes. LOVE THEM!!!!!!! Do not bother with do it yourself, it is cheaper and faster to go with Rault.

The service itself was great. The guy was very nice but the he lost his phone. Fortunately the work I had hired him to do wasn’t pressing, so I wasn’t in a rush. It took him a little bit of time to get back to me and finish the work, so he knocked off some of the price for the mix up. I would use him again.

It went very well. They came when they said they were going to. They did the work quickly and cleanly. He fixed a lock that had been installed upside-down and advised that we didn't have enough security on our back door, so he installed a stronger latch. The front door has an anitique lock that he replaced with care and it looks great and functions much better.

All services have been performed well. The only problem I have had with H Rault was with a replacement part for a very old door latch. The first replacement part broke, but they replaced the piece at no charge.

I had a good experience. I thought I would have to install a completely new crystal door knob setand rebuild the door, but I took the set to the magazine st. showroom and found that I could get a replacement crystal knob for 35.00 and install it myself. It works beautifully. I also had the front entrance door knob repaired and it works fine. i would have hated to replace the antique door knob but it was repaired in less than an hour.

We called Tuesday afternoon and they were able to come Thursday. They gave us a time window (2 to 4 pm) and called & arrived right at 2:00. The work took about 1 hour. Their work was clean, professional and reasonably priced.

They confirmed and kept the appointment. Called when they were on the way over, in fact. All their prices were standard, not based on time, so I knew ahead of time what I was going to pay. The man was friendly and professional. He asked my input when needed and cleaned up before leaving.

They were very reasonable, professional, reliable and fast. I like them.
