good experience. service was great. price was fair. termites are dead.

We hired Lynn Graffagnini (work address listed as 70440 K West St, Covington) because she was the first licensed person/company that we could get to come out that would diagnose the need and then spray our trees for pests (apparently most tree services can not spray trees). On the day of the appointment she had someone on her staff that was out that day, so she arrived later than agreed upon, but that worked out alright for us. When she got to our house she and the other worker took a while to get out of the truck, while we waited outside on the front porch for them. Her business manner is a bit curt and to the point. She never introduced herself or reiterated what she was there to do. She walked around for about 2 minutes and then quoted a price to us. When asked what treatment this estimate included, she said for spraying and fertilizing. We thought it was a bit high, but we needed the work done ASAP, so we agreed. Lynn does seem to be knowledgeable, but it is difficult to get her to share that information with you. It is like she assumes that you already know what she knows. When asked to explain to us what was going on and what needed to be done, she seemed pained to have to do so. The complete treatment was done in less than 10 minutes, and we assumed that that included the fertilization. We did ask if they had fertilized the trees/bushes and she said yes; although we only saw the trees/bushes being sprayed once. We were concerned about a bird that was still in her nest in one of the trees being sprayed, so they did agree that it would be best to inject the chemicals into the soil instead of spraying. We were glad that they were so cautious about that. We might have been a lot more satisfied if there had been better communication. An initial introduction with a review of the work that they were there to make an estimate on (to make sure we were all on the same page) would have been a good start. Then, a better explanation of what work she was recommending and why the work was needed would have been good to give along with the cost estimate, to help the client understand the value of the service. And finally, a desire to willingly share her knowledge in an open and direct manner without having to drag it out of her would have been the most important thing. After all that is really a large part of what a client is paying her for, besides the actual treatment.

We have used them for a few years. It seems like at least twice after spraying the trees they have killed the fish in the pond. It has not been effective at all.
