 + -1 moreMr. Blanchard was very detailed with his estimate and had solutions to a couple problems that other a/c companies could not address. The installers were polite and neat. They worked all day until the job was done. I love my new Trane system!!

 + -1 moreWe had used Ed Blancher 10 or so years ago to replace the heat exchanger in our attic, but that was before Katrina. Now we are renting. I called and explained to Cathy on the phone that the air was still blowing, but it was not cool. She was able to finagle me in for same day service. Around 2:15, I was getting nervous, called and she said when the tech was done on his current job, he would be right over and sure enough, 15 min later, she called to say he was on his way. Scott came in, checked out what the house was like, and immediately got to work: looked at fuses first, and was able to trace it back to the dual motor capacitor (and also cleaned out a wasp nest, too!). He was very professional and personable, too. He fixed the problem, and the second floor went from 90 to 70 by morning! We are so happy.
Description of Work: My second floor A/C conked out, fan worked, but NO cold air and you know how bad that is in New Orleans in August! Scott quickly established that a fuse was blown for the dual motor capacitor, and that the capacitor itself was faulty. Replaced both and bingo, cool air again!

 + -1 moreThe entire installation process was smooth and professional. The crew was puntual and clean. The equipment purchased was well matched for my needs and the service contracted was fullfilled in a professional manner.
Description of Work: I used Ed Blancher HVAC company for my new install in my older home for a complete system. Trane 2 stage furnace and 2 stage A/C unit. All my duct work was redone with sheet metal duct pipe, well insulated and sealed.
