"As a representative of Delta cabinets, we regret that any past customer has left desponded enough to write such a nasty review. We try very hard. As hard as we try, we cannot satisfy 100% of people, 100% of the time as we wish we could. The above complaint stems from one VERY RARE instance where the customer just did not have an adequate budget to fund the amount of work they needed to sell their property. Lacking funds to have us provide a complete, installed product, this homeowner opted to take on ½ the tasks of the renovation themselves, which some, definitely should have been left to our qualified professionals, and we informed them of this right up front.. IE: Measuring for cabinetry, Installing the cabinet doors, Installing door pulls, Etc. We did everything we possibly could to help. In fact, we may have tried a little too hard. In the end, it fell short of satisfying the customer and we got assigned the blame. There was no way we could provide custom cabinets and countertops with professional installation for $1300. In hindsight, a flat “Sorry, We cannot do it” might have been better. Instead, we attempted to consult the customer through to achieving the kitchen they wanted by providing the materials, along with consultation which involved them doing some of the legwork. The entire project was very strange and performed in a very unconventional manner due to lack of operating funds. Ordinarily, we do entire projects from start to finish including measure-up, build, finish and install everything. Renovations are tough! Even tougher when attempting to coordinate tasks around a homeowner who is strapped for funds and trying to do ½ the work themselves. Ultimately, We accept the responsibility of our actions despite our good intentions. We did see things through to an amicable resolution and have made all requested restitution. We formally apologize to this customer for any inconvenience and thank them for helping us add to our ongoing education, and learning of the business we are in. This one, very rare instance is an absolute anomaly. We have THOUSANDS of satisfied customers going back 30-YEARS. Hundreds are recent, and dozens are current and/or in-progress.
