Very good experience overall. Dr. Hansen recommended a cleaning for only one of my two dogs currently under her care. She stated the constant flat fee for the procedure at the time and told me to schedule it at my convenience if I could afford to do so; or be more proactive with dental care for my dog at home if I could not. When I was able to schedule the appointment, everything went exactly as I had been prepared to expect. I was able to drop the dog off in the morning, the cleaning was performed (for the exact price quoted since no extractions/additional procedures needed to be performed), and able to pick him up on my way home, which was actually after the office had closed. My dog had no complications and was returned good as, or even better than, new. Dr. Hansen has been our vet since we moved to the city two years ago and I have no desire to leave her practice and recommend her group as often as possible.

I don't remember how much it cost. They are very professional. It is easy to get in to see the doctor. They are very responsive. I haven't had any problems with them whatsoever. I would use them again in the future.

Vet was concerned and responsive and provided good (perhaps over-the-top) care. Dog recovered to a degree that we could bring her home and sufficient testing was completed to rule out problems that could be easily addressed. Billing agent contacted us to tell us what charges to expect. Agreed to call if charges exceeded prices quoted. Picked up dog, received bill, charges exceeded quote by ~$500 (about 18% off) despite no follow-up call indicating such. Vet 'informed' us that we had been called with an update (which was blatantly false). Vet (Cheri Hansen) apologized sincerely for the misunderstanding. It would be easy for me to be sincere and apologetic too if the $500 was flowing the other way. I don't know about you, but $500 of 'oopsy' money is a lot to me, especially after an unexpected emergency bill of $3000. Do other vets find it hard to simply be transparent about costs? Who knows what different decisions we might have made, but we've been stripped of the opportunity to know. But they're sorry, so I guess it's all okay!

I've given them all As except for Price however I feel I'm paying for that *extra* bit of service they provide. They really are the best vets in the city in my opinion. They also provide great grooming and boarding services.

Unfortunately, we have had to go with the anti-depressants. We just started her on them and are waiting to see the results. Dr. Henry has treated our dog, too, and is very professional, kind and compassionate. We are pleased with his approach to her vaccinations (have to be given over a period of time due to reactions in the past) and his response to our concerns. He is an excellent vet.

They saw me despite no appointment, thorough exam, so far so good for my dog!

I really like how nicely the doctors handle the pets and also that they are a very family-friendly practice, in terms of having young children participate in the vet experience. Their computerized records are incredibly useful, especially during a hurricane evacuation.

I would recommend Dr. Henry and Dr. Hansen to anyone who needs a vet for their pets. The care they offer is unmatched. They answer all of our questions, work with our schedules and even answer their cell phone if we have a question after hours.
