A fraudulent electrical contractor left us with incomplete and poorly done work on our Katrina renovation. I tried everyone on Angie's List in New Orleans and could not get a call back. The problem is that no one wanted to work on a "Can of Worms" left by some shoddy contractor on fixed contract basis. I didn't want to pay time and materials to a contractor I did not have experience with. Cameron Electrical was referred to me by a friend. They came over, spent about an hour asking questions and looking at the work and provided a fixed price contract to troubleshoot everything. For the next four days their crew of two fixed everything. Some problems were easy, one circuit took a full day to unravel. It was the risk they took and they didn't complain. They did not ask for change orders, and even installed a few more lights (wall sconces) when asked. They showed up on time, worked clean, and most importantly - didn't give up even when it was hard. May not seem like a lot of money, but it was for us, and they did right by us. One circuit was giving us a problem a few days after they left - and they came back and fixed it at no charge. I will definitely use them again.
