The porch needed replacing. It was about 1/2 rotten. The ugly wrought iron pillars were rusted. The carpenter and I designed the new wooden pillars with some very subtle trim. I'm completely happy with all the work. My neighbors keep giving me complements. It looks great, like the house was supposed to look for its 100 year old style. Bastion gives great attention to detail, quality, and friendly service. I will deffinately hire them again.

I embarked on my kitchen and bathroom renovation of my New Orleans double with great expectations, and much ignorance. I chose Bastion Works because a neighbor had just competed a beautiful renovation of their old New Orleans house with Bastion. My project included a new bathroom and kitchen including three custom windows, new plumbing and electrical, wainscotting with beautiful moldings, custom open shelves and painting and repair of the walls of my kitchen, living rooms and bedroom. The project manager, Baha, is very attentive to detail, explains the options and possibilities and enjoys the process of bringing out the best in an old, oddly shaped house . He never rushed me to make decisions. He has high standards and was sure that each step of the project was done right, and to my liking. Now that the work is done, I feel like the results I will live with are of high quality, and will be a pleasure to use and admire. My old house will be practical to live in for the first time. My new rooms are better than they ever were and better than I had even envisioned, and they still fit into the 120 year old style of the house.

They were prompt, courteous, helpful and professional. We were very satisfied.They turned our basement into a mother-in-law apartment. They did great work.

Baha was the project manager and he was very, very good. He was very responsive to our concerns and requests. They were very creative in working with us and coming up with new and creative solutions.
