I am very pleased with the beautiful in-ground pool Backyard Living designed and constructed for family's home in Old Metairie, LA. Backyard Living's Founder/Owner Pepper T. designed a one-of-a-kind pool that mends perfectly with our home's custom architectural features. During the design phase Pepper asked questions and made suggestions that've resulted in our pool becoming the primary social space of our home, regardless of what season we're in. Horrific. This was the worst experience of our lives relating to being a homeowner. We saved for years for our dream back yard and he screwed us. He still came to collect money even though we had already paid just $10,000 shy of the total budgeted price. He did not know which client paid him what or where he was financially on each job. He just came to hit clients up for money. The last time we saw him he came to collect $40,000. We only owed $12K left on our job. He had not finished ANYTHING. We refused to pay. He started yelling, "I NEED MONEY" like a drug addict in trouble. We refused and showed him all of the projects that were not only not complete but sub optimally done. We invited him to get off of our property.
