Our a/c went out on a Friday night, and on Saturday morning, ATI Anderson was at our home determining the problem. Steve, the technician, was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was able to pick the part up, and had our a/c back on by early afternoon. There was no special charge for the Saturday visit as some local competitors wanted. There was no special diagnostic fee as also some competitors wanted. I have dealt with ATI Anderson for about 5 years and have found them to be honest, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced.

Took three visits to finally sort out the problem but it was an intermittent problem which is very difficult to diagnose. The machine diagnostics were misleading. As an engineer who has dealt with major and minor equipment, I understood the challenges to solving a problem when given bad data coupled with a problem that doesn't show up every time.
ATI was very busy and the final repair was completed almost a week after initial visit but it is fixed.
Repairman was polite and professional and appropriately apologetic over the extended length of time involved.
One downside is their voice mail box always seemed full which made it difficult to reach anyone initially.

The crew arrived on time, quickly removed the old unit, and cleaned up the closet. Rebuilding the framing to adapted the closet for the new much smaller unit took an extended time which prevented completion of the job that day. However, the crew stayed into the evening and returned first thing the following morning to complete the job. The new unit was installed with all new fittings.The closet door was retro fitted to accommodate the new interior framing and cleanly finished. All in all a very thorough and complete job.

I just like the way they present themselves in a professional manner. They give me an honest and fair price, and they don't inflate prices. I don't have to negotiate with them because they always give me an honest and fair price. They go above and beyond. The owner comes to check things out, and he is experienced and knows what he is talking about. I have also recommended them to several people and everybody seems to be 100 percent satisfied.

It went well. Steve was very efficient and nice and polite so
instead of it being a painful chore, it was a nice experience.
My 3 golden retrievers tried to help and Steve was very kind and
happily put up with 3 big dogs constantly looking over his shoulder!!

After having broken down several times last summer, we knew our old a/c unit needed to be replaced when it broke down for the second time this summer. We've used several a/c repair companies in the past, including ATI, so I called a number of them and got quotes. The quotes ranged from $2k to $10k. I ended up going with ATI because, not only did they have the most affordable quote--and it was for an American Standard, not a cheap-o brand that will break down immediately--but they also didn't try to convince me that I needed more replaced than I did. We had a freon leak in one of our ducts and, as our house is very old, I wasn't sure whether that leak just needed to be patched or whether it was a sign that our whole duct system needed to be replaced. One company not only tried to convince me that the ducts had to all be replaced and reinsulated but also that I needed a new heater in additional to a new a/c unit since and quot;the whole system is so old.and quot; When Ron from ATI came out with his quote, he told me that my heater was much newer than my a/c condenser and absolutely did not need to be replaced. He also told me that freon leaks just happen sometimes but that we just needed the duct patched and did not need a whole new $7k set of ducts.

The installation process was very easy for me. The ATI guys came to our house when I was at work. They called to let me know they were there and that they would do all the outdoor work and call me at the end when they would need me to let them into the house to turn on the system via the thermostat, which is just what I did. I really appreciated missing minimal time at work--nothing worse than just sitting at home waiting for the repair man! Everyone was very polite and helpful and the new condenser has been cooling the house beautifully for the past three months (the hottest of the summer!).

When I got home one evening at 5:30 to discover that our vents were blowing warm air, I called ATI. Ron told me he was finishing up a job at someone's house and wouldn't be available to come by until about 7 pm. He was very apologetic about that. I, on the other hand, was thrilled that he was able to come by that night! I had already assumed that I would be sleeping in an a/c-less house. He came by at 7 pm, as promised. Turned out an electrical wire under our house which fed electricity to the condenser was broken (so, not an issue with the a/c, just an electrical problem that affected the a/c). Once he found the broken wire (which was under our house and hard to find!) Ron fixed it quickly and was VERY pleasant, despite the fact that he ended up leaving our house at 8 pm (must have been tired and starving!).

In short: ATI is a great company that does quality work for affordable prices. If you need your a/c repaired, give them a try. If you're planning on replaced any major part of your a/c system DEFINITELY get them to come by for a quote!
