I did not know ahead of time that Aqua Solutions uses a blower attached to a long pipe to blow down the gutters standing on the ground or on a ladder. This is not the traditional method, and I do not know if it is as good as the traditional method of using water to wash down the gutters. After blowing down the gutters, he puts a hose with a pressure nozzle up the downspout about 2 feet or so and forces a column of water up the downspout to or almost up to the gutter. Again, I do not know whether this is as effective as the traditional method of streaming water from the gutters down the downspout. I had one other estimate from a traditional gutter cleaner which was exactly the same amount. My experience was not much of a test since the gutters were essentially clean, and in fairness to the gutter cleaner, he reduced the price of the gutter cleaning by about 30%.
