Appliance Tech is an established appliance repair company that covers a large portion of the greater New Orleans area. We have participated in numerous factory training courses and are insured. Our specialties include LG front loading washers and dryers, Sub-Zero and too many brands to list. We service refrigerators, dishwashers, freezers, under-counter icemakers, oven/stove/ranges and of course, washers and dryers. All service charge fees go towards the appliance repair. Called and got service the same day! Once the technician arrived and listened as I explained the problem, Repairs were completed in about an hour. The technician even had to go pick up a part that he did not have on his truck. All done within an hour.

The machine works fantastic and with Joe's advice should help my machine last longer with less soap usage.  I felt very comfortable with him working in my home and he was friendly but not a pain.  He was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.  I was extremely impressed with the fact he showed me the new part and would not take the old one.  I felt like that was an honest move on his part.  Bottom line, I would highly recommend Appliance Technician for high-end appliance repair.  I had problems finding someone who could work on computerized appliances til I found them.

I requested that "the Appliance Technician" send out a tech capable of repairing the ice maker in my 3 yr old Maytag fridge. They sent a guy named "Houston" out on 06/20/2011. He claimed he was a Maytag authorized and trained technician. He removed the ice maker, diagnosed the problem and informed me that the unit needed a new ice maker. I authorized him to acquire and install a new ice maker. He returned on 06/23/2011 and proceeded to install the new ice maker. As I watched, it was apparent that "Houston" was having a difficult time installing the new ice maker. He eventually got it installed. It was obvious he had not performed this activity before. He forced the new ice maker into the old space the other was in. When he had completed his installation, I pointed out to him that he had broken the new ice maker's plug in assembly. He agreed that he had broken the electrical harness and the plastic plug on the end. He proceeded to tape the harness together with electrical tape and informed me it would be "alright" and would not interfere with the workings of the ice maker. He wrapped up his work and presented me with an invoice which I paid under protest. (I wound up disputing the credit card charges as the company would not respond to me) The next day I noticed that everything in the refrigerator section was completely frozen even though the unit was set on 40 degrees F. I called for repair and they sent "Houston" back out on 06/24/2011, agreed that there was a problem and informed me that he would "study" it over the weekend and come back and repair it on Monday. I called the office Monday 06/27/2011 and the person that took the call said she would have a tech call me. Same thing for Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. No returned call from tech and no show on the repair. I finally gave up working with this company and called Maytag to get a different company to come repair the problem. The new authorized service provider removed the "new" ice maker and showed me where the wiring harness was broken, where the tab that holds the ice maker in place was broken and where the de-mister on the ice maker was broken causing the fan in the unit to run constantly which resulted in the fridge freezing up. They ordered, received and installed a new "new" ice maker for which I had to pay again. At least they fixed it.

They have been pretty good. They came out twice but they charged me with a one day payment. They are very efficient and they always call when are they're gonna come.
