Description of Work: I had a horribly flooded and sunken home after Hurricane Katrina. I hired another area contractor who sold me a full house renovation for close to $200,000. To make long story short, the job was completely botched, money was collected for work never done, and the work performed was not done to high standards. Mr. Harmon and his company, Alto Housing, came to my rescue in October of 2008, giving me a a very honest assessment of what needed to be done, what needed to be redone (to correct bad work of other contractor), outlined the work flow and began doing work at my home in February 2009. We had to go slowly because I had to do jobs as money became available. I cannot say enough about this contractor -- he is honest and unlike most, very hands-on. For most big jobs, like sheetrocking and pouring my driveway, he never even leaves the job site! I would recommend him to anyone who needs any knowledgeable remodeling work done, for he greatly helped me and always got me the best prices he could on materials. A++++ contractor!!!!
