The headline is that after an 11 hour move including two trips with a huge box truck the only thing broken was the glass on a picture frame I dropped while 'helping.' I cannot tell you how good these guys were. They showed up on time, directly at 9am like I requested at my old storage facility. Then for the next eleven hours I never saw any of them sit down, take a break, heck they barely slowed down while drinking water (the heat index was 106 degrees on the day of the move). Everything was wrapped in blankets, stacked carefully, and the guy who was playing Tetris in the back of the truck was clearly world class. There was absolutely no wasted space. Despite this it took two trips with a huge panel truck to empty everything and get it moved. The best part in my eyes is that even at the end when everyone was tired, sweaty, and exhausted they remained friendly, cheerful, and careful. Some of the things that were moved were pretty delicate art work and furniture, and so far I haven't even found any scratches let alone anything broken. My wife and I are amazed by how good they were. I am ex-military and have moved a lot. The guys were by far the best movers I have ever used. Frankly for 11 hours of work I feel like we were under charged, I am not complaining of course, but wow these guys worked hard.

These guys did a fabulous job. I have moved many many times using all manner of assistance, from family members to national long-distance moving companies. This was the best experience I've had. Adonay is responsive and helpful. The two men who did the actual move were attentive and efficient. They arrived on time and went right to work. They were careful with my things. They loaded the truck very efficiently. It was quite a hot day, and yet they were friendly and cheerful while working very hard. They exceeded all my expectations, and I highly recommend them.

I was moving a conference table and 10 chairs from a high rise to a street level office. I was only able to reserve the elevator for 2 hours (3-5). My move was to start at 3:30. At 3:30, I got a call that the team was running late and Michael would be there to prep the furniture so we could still make the dead line. Michael came, took the table apart, wrapped everything so when the team came it was effortless. I love how they work together to make it happen. I definitely recommend them and will use them again.

Awesome experience! These guys were meticulous and made every effort to meet our needs...I mean went above and beyond! I can't praise these guys enough! They had to take apart antique furniture and reassemble it, remove and put back doors, maneuver through awkward and narrow spaces....and not a nick or scratch on a single wall or furniture did they make. They worked for us for 2 days and many hours and never stopped or complained or even showed fatigue or frustration on any of their (3 guys) faces...amazing job!

Movers did an excellent job moving us to the new house. There was some confusion on my part. After I set things up on Angies list. I had not heard back from any one. I checked on Angies list and realized that I had not put my phone in so the movers could call me. I reached out to AD Movers on Wedsesday . We were able to set up the move that Saturday even though they had another move already set for the morning. They kept in contact with me on Saturday to let me know when they were coming. A little before they were supposed to be there they let me know they were running late but were definitely coming. They arrived about 330 started loading the truck and was finished about 715 in the evening all unloaded at the new house. They were very professional to work with. The handled all the furniture with care. When they loaded the truck they made sure everything was secure.. I would highly recommend them for moving.

The two movers were scheduled to show up at 9:00 am and actually showed up about twenty minutes early, which was actually great because I had to leave for work after 2pm and wanted to get things done as soon as possible. These guys had all the right equipment needed to move different types of furniture and managed to do everything without a hitch despite having to move some heavy furniture on a badly damaged floor that posed a serious safety risk. They both were extremely polite and very professional and were deliberate in the way they went about getting the job done in the quickest possible time. I would definitely look for these guys again in the future when needed!

Offer was two men and a truck for four hours. Since this particular deal was for South shore, I did pay only an extra $50.00 to go all the way to Bush, LA (1 hr and 10 min away) which I thought was very reasonable.

I did not know two men could move a couch, desk, bookcase, chest of drawers, queen mattress & box sprigs, floor lamp, rabbit cage, BBQ grill and numerous extra large plants so quickly. They were most pleasant and very professional. All furniture was wrapped with furniture blankets as pieces went on the truck.  Huge potted plants were off loaded to their new home without any problems. 

We will be calling AD Movers again for any future moving needs.

They were GREAT! They told us they would be at the house between 9:30 and 9:45. They showed up at 9:25. These guys moved everything and were so curious and friendly. They put everything where we wanted. I will definitely use them again if I need anything else moved.

It went great!  I found him to be extremely professional and courteous.  Although he stated his company's minimums (comparable to other companies I contacted), he was willing to work with me on the cost since the job was very straightforward and didn't require more than 45 minutes each time.  The provider arrived a bit early (which was welcomed!) and got the move done in short order.  He and his crew were very responsive to any concerns or questions I had and accommodated my requests.  They were also very careful in handling everything.  I would definitely use them again!

I contacted Mr. Pineda (owner of ADmovers) due to his "A" grade with Angie's List and his previous reviews to pack my house and move us from Louisiana to Mississippi. Mr. Pineda and I were talking on the phone but when I stressed the point that I believed he should come and see the house and see what the job entailed. His response was that he usually gave estimates over the phone, but agreed to come and view the house. After opening all cupboards, closets and furniture so he could get a better idea of what packing and moving would be required he assured me that he could do the job. Mr. Pineda worked up an estimate for the packing for two packers at $70.00 an hour for 10 hours, plus supplies at $1,270.00. The estimate for the move was for two trucks, a four man crew and including travel time for $1,820.00. As instructed I accessed Mr. Pineda's website and submitted a $50.00 deposit. Mr. Pineda and another man were due to arrive at 8:00 a.m. on January 5, 2016 to start packing. Mr. Pineda called around 7:30 a.m. to notify me that something unforeseen had cropped up and it was agreed he would arrive around 10:30 a.m. I walked through the house with Mr. Pineda again identifying what was to be packed and pointing out the notes on each piece of furniture indicating if it was to be garbage, set out on front porch for goodwill or to be moved to the new house. After arriving two hours later than originally scheduled they began packing. They only packed for eight hours leaving a lot of packing to be done. I paid Mr. Pineda via a personal check for $650.00 according to his bill which included the time spent packing and the supplies less $300.00 for items Mr. Pineda purchased from our garage. Mr. Pineda was supposed to arrive at 5:30 a.m. on January 6, 2016 with his crew but again phoned me and told me he would be delayed. He arrived around 7:30 a.m. with four men and two moving trucks. Mr. Pineda started packing the remainder of items he had not packed on the 5th. The three packers started moving furniture and boxes. My husband, my daughter and I were finishing our personal packing and left around 6:30 p.m. to drive to Summit, MS to be there when the movers arrived. It is about an hour and forty five minutes from LaPlace, LA to Summit, MS. They arrived in Summit around 9:00 p.m. and started unpacking. I had packed up my china cabinets and other items that were family treasures and each plastic box was labeled storage and/or basement. Mr. Pineda and his crew did not finish unpacking until approximately 3:50 a.m. on January 7th. Mr. Pineda presented his bill for the moving expenses at double what his estimate had stated. He indicated that the higher cost was my fault because he had to continue packing leaving just three men to load the trucks. Since he chose to leave early on the 4th and leaving much of the packing undone I did not believe that was a valid point but by then it was about 4:00 a.m. and I was too tired to object. The final bill we received at 4 a.m. was $3,122.00 whereas the estimate Mr. Pineda prepared for moving costs was $1,820.00. On packing day, the two man crew showed up to do the packing for the day. A lot of items were left unpacked. On moving day, a four man crew came with two trucks. A lot of things were not packed up and Mr. Pineda continued to pack up some of the remaining items. This made the move cost more because three men were moving while one man was still packing per Mr. Pineda. Everything had been labeled prior to the moving crew showing up to my house. The base for my Tiffany lamp was left in a room, a plastic box with pictures was left behind, boxes from my son's room were also left unpacked and not stored in the closet as I had requested, items in the garage were not packed and where left behind and quite a few other items did not make it onto the truck. My daughter was very disappointed with Mr. Pineda and his crew because they packed very little her room. My daughter, like myself, clearly marked the items that were to be packed and the items that were to stay. However, after an hour and a half of being asked if this or that was to be packed or not she told them to leave it because she had enough. It took my daughter and me three separate trips to get all the things that they left behind. They were also supposed to move the couch but didn't so Mr. Pineda said he would come on a different day to do this. I was at the house in LaPlace when Mr. Pineda called to come move the couch. When I brought up the items being left behind and/or not packed, Mr. Pineda said that it was my fault because I left early and I should have stayed and done a walk-through of the house with him to make sure everything was packed as we had discussed. Mr. Pineda never said anything to me about a walk-through to make sure he had completed the move as we had discussed. I let Mr. Pineda know that they we were leaving for the new house and he did say anything to me about a final walk-through.

"It hurts myself that they complain about me and my crew when I put my hart in their move because they only see the price and no the work that we had done. we pack 90% of their stuff with two guys on the 5th we work 8hrs and we didn't finish. next day we showed up at 6 am when they requested me to start at 10 am but I knew that it will take all day long to do their move because it was a 4 bedroom house with an office, pool room and a garage full of stuff. We provide 4 guys and we work none stop for 19 hrs we only stop for lunch and not for dinner because we were trying to help them as much as we can with the time. We went through of everything before they leave to Mississippi to make sure that we have everything we put the stuff to the side and she said that was everything she was rushed with the time and she left. We fill up the two trucks and did the best we can like always. Thanks for your business god bless y'all"

They did a great job! They were VERY careful not to scratch the furniture or the walls. They took their time, but were by no means slow. They came with their own truck and organized it very well so everything fit in one truck load. They asked some questions at the beginning about what was going, but other than that they needed no guidance so I could get other things done while they were loading up. They price was the lowest I could find on Angie's List while still having an "A" rating. It was a great experience moving with them!

I highly recommend using AD Movers. Adonay Pineda and his helper were very professional and efficient. They arrived on time, worked hard and were a pleasure to work with before and during the move. Everything was handled with great care and courtesy. AD Movers has a website and you can book in advance and pay a deposit. It was easy and it provided a confirmation.
